Unexpected Love

chapter 5 - his place

As he drove streets by streets, we were there standing infront of my driveway. I was heading to his car trumk.

"Hey, can you open the trunk? I'll get my stuff" asking him

"I can bring it home since it's all for the event like you said" he answered walking towards me.

"No need, I'll bring it tomorrow and besides jake and alex might think I let you bought the stuff"

"Don't worry about that. I'll bring it home. Go on and rest I know you're tired." He insisted

"You sure?" I asked

"Yeah, goo leave it to me" he grabs both of my shoulders pushing me to the front of my door to go in.

"Ok, fine. I'll see you tomorrow" I smiley said opening the door waving at him to say bye.

Suddenly, I opened the door again and called out his name "Timothy! Wait!" I semi-shouted.

"Hm?" He replied

"Thanks for today. I would have been dead if it weren't for you" I chuckled

"Of course don't mention it, see you tomorrow lisa" he laughed waving me a goodbye before going back into his car. Peekinh through the window, he was waiting for me to go back inside my house and I did.

The next morning at 11 am, I was getting ready for the meet up at Timothy's place. I wore a casual outfit and just brought my small purse with me since the materials I bought was already with him.

I was walking down the street looking for his house and finally over 10 houses I found his. I rang the doorbell and waited for someone to open. Surprisingly, I was greeted by three young men. Jake, Alex, and Timothy was already there waiting for me.

"Lisa, did you forget something? You literally didn't bring anything" Alex stated.

"Oh uh I-" I was about to reply but Timothy cutted me off and said "Oh, we met yesterday and I insisted to bring home the materials she bought so she wouldn't have a hard time carrying it" He replied and I nod.

"Wait, you guys meet? and you didn't even tell us" Jake questioned with a bit of jealousy in his face.

"Well, we met accidentally cause he just saw me on the sidewalk and he was in his car" I explained.

"Sure, whatever. Come let's start this thing!" He shrugs and avoided the topic.

Weird is what I thought but didn't mind at all.

We all went in at his house. He said his parents weren't around and the moment I went in I immediately saw the things I got on the kitchen counter. I instantly grabbed all of it and almost dropping the plastic bags all over the floor but Jake helped me in getting the items and asked Timothy where we can do the decorations. He then said we can all do it in the living room so Jake grabbed all the items in my hand and items on the counter itself.

"Oh haha thanks" I smiled at Jake feeling embarrased cause I got too excited.

"Next time you can always ask for help from me" he said and I slightly laughed and said noted.

A few hours later of making the decorations for the event. We got tired. Jake and Alex were already sleeping on the couch. On the other hand, Timothy and I were adding the last touches for our decorations.

"And... done!" Finishing it off with a ribbon. I looked at Timothy with a grin on my face and he did too. He gave me a hi 5 for our hard work. We looked at the two sleepyheads on the couch and laughed quietly.

"Wanna get boba outside? my treat since you did most of the work" he quietly asked.
