"Hey little one." Rick said, kneeling down to his niece as she looked up at him, confused.
"Uncle Rick, where is daddy?" She asked, a small pout on her face. Rick sighed, grabbing her hands.
"He's gone a trip so you'll be staying with me and aunt Lori, okay?" Rick said, feeling sorry for his niece.
She nodded, smiling, "Okay! I love staying with you and auntie! She's so nice to me and she cooks! And she plays with me when I'm bored! An-and Carl is so cute, he's the best! I know he's still a baby but he's so funny and I love him lots Uncle!"
Rick laughed, picking her up and grabbing her bags, "I'm glad you like them little one. And aunt has got dinner ready for you okay? I hope you like pasta!"
Danielle giggled, nodding her head.
Rick smiled, "Good little one."
