Hidden Treasures Part Two (chapter thirty-nine)

Wolf's pov

The squirrels got off while Scarlemagne and I stayed on

Squirrels: treasure!

We looked through the tree

Me: that's our stuff! The float's gotta be in there, too

Kipo claws the acorns sending an avalanche of acorns. Kipo struggled to stay standing so, y/n helped her stay standing by grabbing her neck. Soon the float comes out making, Kipo hit it towards a building stopping the float from moving. Y/n squawks then looks at an opening, Kipo nods then y/n let's go of her. Kipo runs towards the building then transforms back. Suddenly we're in a corner trapped,  y/n comes down and helps us on him then he flies in the air

Your pov

Once the avalanche was over I land on the ground, let them off me then I retrieved the float. As soon as I put the float down I transformed back. Kipo opens the door making people fall out. Benson gasps for air

Benson: oh, sweet! Sweet air!

Dad gets up

Dad: phew! I knew everything would work out in the end

Mum and dad go off to the side

Dave comes out gagging

Dave: tasted my lunch again. I only wanted to eat it once

Dave falls out

Dave: that was double the calories

Kameko: thank you, sweet jaguar girl! We will never lose our treasure again!

Wolf kisses my cheek making me turn my attention to her

Wolf: thanks for the help

I smile at her then heard a door slam shut

Kipo: not this one!

Everyone starts wheeling it back except Scarlemagne, Wolf and I. Me and Wolf was on a roof while Scarlemagne ran away. Wolf used her weapon on Scarlemagne then jumped around until she was on a lamppost

Wolf: where are you going?

Scarlemagne: to eliminate our Emilia problem

Wolf tackles Scarlemagne

Wolf: I can't let you do that

Scarlemagne: we both know Kipo. She's always so focused on others, she doesn't consider her own safety. Y/n just rescued her from one avalanche, but there's another avalanche coming. And someone has to stop it. Emilia's the second avalanche

Wolf: yeah, I got that. But I won't go behind her back

Scarlemagne: ah, she's like a sister to you. Believe it or not, I feel the same. We'd both do anything to protect her. And that's why you're going to let me go

Wolf looks at Kipo and the others then back at Scarlemagne

Wolf: alright. I'll come with

I go down to them

Me: need a ride?
