Chapter 10, home.

(Kate's POV)

I didn't get what he meant. He said I was his pentru iubitul meu? I had no idea what that meant. The guardians said that I was free to go. Dem walked me to my bedroom never once letting go of my hand.

We got to my door and then I realized that I lost my keys in the clearing.

"Uh Dem?" I was worried that he would get angry at me.

"Yes Kate?" He smiled at me.

"I, ah, I kind of lost my keys in the clearing." I mumbled.

He sighed."come on then." Was all he said as he started pulling me down the hall.

I thought that we were going back downstairs but instead we stopped in front of another dorm. Dem unlocked it and lead me inside. He lead me strait threw the lounge room and into the bedroom.

"Um are you sure I'm allowed to stay here?" I asked.

"Of course. Now the bathroom is right there and here is some pj's" he handed me some boxers and a t-shirt out of a draw.

"Thank-you." I murmured. He smiled at me in return and I made my way into the bathroom.

I didn't know how to get the stupid crystals off. I shut my eyes in frustration. When I opened them the crystals were gone. I took in what I looked like and finally saw the full tattoo. It was beautiful. I showered quickly and got dressed into Dem's clothes.

I walked out and Dem seemed to be asleep. I walked to the bed and climbed in. I could imagine what Ally would say. My first night here and I'm already in some hot guys bed. I could see her laughing right now. I was just starting to fall asleep when a warm arm rapped around my waste.

Dem pulled me to him. I had to laugh at this because he was doing this in his sleep. I finally drifted off to sleep.

I woke up to be laying on top of someone. I peek threw my eye lashes to see that it is Dem. my head is on his chest while his hands are wrapped around my waste. I was trying to think of how to get up without waking him. I slowly sat up. His arms tightened around me. I tried moving his arms off of me. It didn't work though. His eyes shot open and he smiled at me.

"Good morning my pentru iubitul meu." He whispered.

I then realized that I was sitting on top of him still and I tried to wriggle off of him.

"Kate. Please don't do that while you are sitting on top of me." I blushed madly at that.

"Then let me up." I mumbled.

"No." He said simply.

"And why not?" I asked him.

"You haven't said good morning yet." Was all he said.

"Oh, well good morning." After I said that I tried to get off of him again.

"Kate. I asked you not to do that." He held me in place not letting me get up.

Instead he sat up with me still on his lap. He hugged me to him.

"Are you ready to start your classes?" He asked and I could feel his breath on the back of my neck.

"No." I replied

"Well too bad." He said letting me go. He got up and went into the bathroom. When he came out he was dresses in jeans and a t-shirt.

"Come on I'll walk you to your dorm. I got your keys." He said as he walked out. I followed behind him and when we got to my dorm he said his goodbyes. I went in and got dressed. I again looked at my skedual. I saw that my first class started in 15 minutes so I started to make my way down stairs.

I arrived at my first class early. My first class was history of the gifted. I was surprised to see Tyler in my class. I was even more surprise when he ran up to me and hugged me, lifting me off of the ground. So many people were staring at us and probably wondering what was with the tattoos.

My first class was good. It flew by and no one even talked to me besides Tyler. Tyler walked me to my next class, which was combat, and I ignored all of the stares people were giving us. Once I got to combat there was groups of people everywhere standing around chatting.

I noticed Dem standing with a group of people. He glanced at me but just ignored me other than that. I ignored him right back. I was surprised when Nathaniel ran up to me and hugged me.

"I'm so sorry Kate." He whispered in my ear. I started laughing.

"You know if someone told me a month ago that you, Nathaniel, would be hugging me right now and apologizing I would of thought they were insane." I laughed.

"Yeah so would I." He mumbled while he rubbed the back of his head. "How did you know my full name was Nathaniel?" He asked.

"Lucky guess" I shrugged.

"Do you wanna do something tomorrow?" He asked really quickly.

"Yeah and I know exactly what. I still have some stuff in my locker at school that I wouldn't mind getting. I already talked to the principal about it and she said it was fine. You wanna tag along?" I asked.

"Sure." He muttered.

After that the whole day passed in a blur. Later on that night I was on a plane. There were other people with me as well. Including Tyler, Felix, Nate and Dem.

I couldn't believe it though. They were letting me say goodbye to my family and friends.
