"Ahhh... I love this bass!" The then-fourteen-year-old Maurice said to Margaret as he kept on wiping the new instrument that he bought for himself. He's been holding the bass guitar at the living area for the entire day like a precious toy.

"Ha! Pretty obvious, Mo! You can glue yourself to that," she smirked.

"And how am I going to play then?"

"You can use your teeth or feet. Duh!" Robin made a silly remark while playing with little Andy, who was already then five years old.

"Shut up!" Maurice exclaimed.

The newly-turned teenage girl would go to the Gibb's house when she would be invited to see them perform on theatres or local clubs. They don't have a formal band name yet but the people who had seen them perform would call them "The Gibb Band" or "The Brothers Gibb", with Barry as the leader of the group and the twins doing silly acts in the middle of the songs. The audience, including Margaret, will laugh out loud until there were tears forming in their eyes. At some point, the Gibb brothers would be invited by local tv stations and they would perform cover songs and few of their own compositions. They would do everything – even sing in the public toilets with loud echoes before their proper act – just to be true to their word that they will make it to stardom someday. In a normal day setup, sometimes when Maurice is having a hard time on learning about basic politics (because he had no total interest at it), he would rush onto Margaret's house or visit her class to ask for help, and Robin would go along and 'pester' them. He would also teach his twin but Maurice would end up going to Margaret. He just felt so comfortable with her, aside from his own siblings, because she would patiently teach him about the subject matter and willing to listen to him anytime. Unlike Robin who would annoy him all the time. But later on, the twins dropped from school – following their big brother Barry – when they were starting to get recognized.

"Well, too bad you can't use that for tonight yet," Margaret said. "I guess this bad weather will last until tonight, eh."

"Yeah. I thought so, too." Maurice agreed to her. "But, hey. Just in case the rain will stop, can you go with me to buy the newly-released Beatles' record? Pleaaase Mimi?" She just found it cute when her closest friend would utter that nickname just for her.

"Of course! I know how much you badly wanted that."

"Can I come?" Robin joined in the conversation, still doing a piggy back ride with little Andy.

The two said in unison and stuck their tongues out, "NO."

"WHAT?!"

"Come on! Andy needs a playmate!" Maurice said and grinned.

"And I hate someone annoying us," Margaret rolled her eyes. "You've been messing up my hair the last time we all had dinner at the nearby restaurant." The last time that the two families had dinner, Robin brought the fork onto her wild hair and pretended that he was eating a bowl of spaghetti. Margaret did not talk to him for days until one day he bought her a book about the life of Anne Frank as a token of apology. "Jeez! I'll be good! I promise!" He pleaded.

"You sure?" The girl arched a brow onto Robin.

"Of course! On one condition..." Robin paused and thought. "Maurice will look over Andy!"

The rain did not stop until late evening, so their walk going to the nearby record store was postponed and decided to be done it the next day. When Margaret saw that the time was late and she did not bring an umbrella, the twins offered that they'll go with her on her way home. But then, the two would "argue" again on who would accompany her. Robin thought of playing scissors-papers-stones with him to see who will do it. He lost after the second try but...
