"Did The Bee Gees ring a bell to you?"

Did I hear it right?

I'm sure she didn't stutter, but... yeah, the child in me was like jumping up and down right now when Caroline asked me that question!

"You're not kidding, right?" I asked her.

"Of course not! I made sure we'd get this project because they're superstars now and part of our history back in Australia! I used to listen to their early music and I am excited to see them again!" She sounded proud, and I can't blame her. Now I'm stoked! They're going to be surprised! I couldn't help but smile from ear to ear now.

No wonder the names Vince and Colin sounded familiar... and it is just at this moment I was able to put two and two together, and which of them is which. I just remembered that Vince was the one on vocals on the song "Such a Shame". He's great as a vocalist!

"You seemed way too happy for this one," she noticed that I was smiling like an idiot.

I shook my head, still smiling. Oh, you have no idea what you did, Caroline.

"I'm just excited, that's all. First big break for me, I guess," that's what I said.

"We'll do our best!"

"Of course!"

All of our bags and luggage are packed for our early morning trip to Manchester. I couldn't believe I am seeing them again after three years in another country. Now I've found that the world is round. Time flies so fast.

Soon, our train has arrived and we hopped in. During the trip, the only thing I did was sleep since I could not literally sleep the night before. I was also wondering how they were doing for the past years, or if they were still the same, or if they got involved in more mischief. But probably not anymore, since they're not living ordinary lives like when we were young.

After it seemed like forever, we have finally arrived. We're about to stay in a rented flat near the Royal Albert Hall since we were told by Caroline that the band was also staying few kilometers away from here. Her photoshoot concept was to take some photographs in the streets of Manchester or inside the studio with the boys, in which these will be included in a famous teen magazine. She contacted Robert Stigwood right away, informing that we've arrived and he gave us three hours to prepare, and we did what we should do.

Now... I couldn't believe that we are now standing in front of their studio! We're about to knock to the door when a literally white-ish man that almost looked like Oscar Wilde just opened the door. Probably this is Robert.

"How lovely! Is this Caroline and the team?" He said with his quite deep voice, and seemingly different accent. Sounded like a mixture of two?

"Yes!" Caroline shook hands immediately with the man and he returned the same gesture. "I'm Caroline Brown, and this is my team. My assistant here is Margaret Thompson," she pointed towards my direction. I shyly waved and shook hands with him.

"Oh, so this is the girl I've been hearing lately from Colin and Vince," he gave a brief smile. "They have no idea that you'd be here today, so I assume this is a surprise, then."

"Ahhh... heh, heh, heh," that's the only response I had. What on earth is he talking about?

"Well, come in. Make yourselves comfortable before we begin. We'll just wait for the brothers to arrive," he said as he led us to the other receiving area where we could see the main recording booth. He immediately called his receptionist to serve us some refreshments. And few minutes later, I heard someone who shouted my name.
