"Ahhh... We're good to go!" Barry stretched his arms wide after rehearsing with his brothers to their new composition that they will be used to perform on David Matthews' Show on one Saturday night. He suggested to his brothers that they will perform 'The Battle of the Blue and the Gray', aside from their selected cover songs, and a special song to be sung for the first time. They were given a special 30-minute airtime in his show to give way in showcasing their talent more.

"God, I've never been this nervous!" Maurice exclaimed and threw his hands up in the air. His hands seemed to be fidgeting just before the show and he repeatedly rubbed his palms. They were advised to go early for their appearance (and first internationally televised performance) so they could do the necessary preparations. Hugh, Barbara and Lesley were present in the audience, but the Thompsons were not present...yet.

"I can't see Margaret," Robin wandered around and noticed three empty seats beside his family. He told his brothers about it and thought of asking his sister. His parents were chatting with the ones bedside them. "Are you sure they are coming tonight?" Robin asked her.

"Well, yeah, that's what James told me. Actually she'll be the only one who can make it tonight because he's going to do some photography stuff again for his class presentation next week," she replied in a low tone. He had a smile formed on his face when he knew Margaret's going. Lesley noticed her young brother's reaction.

"Oh, happy to see her again after a week?" She smirked.

"Of course!" He turned beat red with his reply, but his eyes went shot and quickly changed the subject, "Umm... James is one heck of a nerd!" His sister nodded in reply. She knows something is up.

"Uh... How about their aunt?"

"She's not yet feeling well though..."

"Oooh... Poor Hazel..."

"Well, you're on tv any moment now so I know she's going to watch!"

Robin showed off his toothy grin and gave two thumbs up as response to his sister.

Meanwhile, Margaret was walking fast going to the tv station after she was dropped off by the bus hundreds of meters away. She kept on glancing at her watch to check if she's already late or not.

Twenty-five.

Twenty minutes.

Fifteen.

"Oh God!" She groaned. But when she saw the tv station close to her, she ran immediately. The appearance of the Bee Gees – her closest friends – starts at 8:30pm and she was able to make it ten minutes before the time. The set was huge enough to hold a hundred audiences. From afar, there was still an interview made by David on Bill Gates upon his discovery of the Bee Gees' incredible talent, and Hugh and Barbara were also invited to sit for the interview. She snuck up going backstage as she promised that she will be there for them before the show starts. She wasn't permitted to see them by one of the crew when she was about to enter and she got mad.

Maurice noticed a little commotion happening at the backstage entrance while he was pacing back and forth, trying to relax. He approached to see what was happening and he heard that the crew was driving a girl away. He was surprised to see it was Margaret – he thought that she went true to her word, and that made him smile. She wore a light green dress with the hem two inches below her knee, and her hair was tied neatly in a bun. Suddenly, his heart beats like a drum – doing somersaults at that moment. He couldn't take his eyes off her.

"Can she come in for a while?" He spoke to the crew guy. "She's a dear friend of mine."

"Uh, well..." Maurice pleaded again and again using his charms, and the crew gave in to his request but was only advised to speak with her for five minutes.
