"Y/n are you home?" asked Sam as he sat down on your apartment bed late at night. Earing no answers but seeing a light in the bathroom, he laid down on the bed with a loud sight.

That's when he heard a baby crying. A usual thing for an almost 6 months old baby. Sam got up and walked toward yours and his son's room. He tiredly stepped in and the baby stopped. Sam put on the light and kept a breath in, as he saw a figure above his son's crib.
"Hey!" yelled Sam and the person turned around.
Their eyes were yellow. That yellow Sam and his family looked for so long and that same color that gave him nightmares and killed or hurt so many people he loved. Sam stayed still for two seconds before moving. The demon suddenly disappeared and Sam rushed to the crib. Finding it empty. No more baby.

"Y/n!" he yelled as he ran out. A piercing scream filled the appartement as Sam was halfway in the corridor. His breath became shorter and shorter, his heart still beating at a fast pace as he heard you screaming like he never did before. He searched for you everywhere in every room, until finally arriving in the living room.
"Y/n?" he asked in a smaller voice, looking around in the dark room, the only light coming from the street outside.
"Sam?" he heard and let out a breath
"Where are you?"
You got up from your hiding place behind the couch and rushed to Sam, hugging him around the neck. The shaking form of Sam relaxed in your arms but knew it wasn't finished. He was about to say something when you spoke.

"It is your fault"
"What?" asked Sam as he pulled away.
You took a couple of steps back and looked at him.
"You did this to us. All our life is ruin because of you, I am going to die because of you Sam. I already am"
"Y/n what are you talking about?" asked Sam as he walked closer to you. But you only wrapped your arms around your torso, and walked back even further.
"Don't come closer Sam"
The Winchester felt as if his heart broke into a million pieces. You, the person he loves and scared of losing every day, was scared of him. Sam didn't fight back the tears that were coming up his eyes, he only nodded and stepped back. He looked at the ground, without knowing what to do.

"Sam" you called and he looked up. But you weren't here. Just like his son, you disappeared.
"Y/n?" called Sam, terrified
"Sam" you screamed. He called your name once again, looking around, looking for you in vain. That's when Sam heard a little click. He looked at his feet and saw a drop. A drop that was reflecting itself with the light, and even if it was night Sam was able to see that it was too dark to be a drop of water. He slowly looked up, hoping not to see what his mind was telling him. But his mind was right. Just like two people before, you were on the ceiling looking down at Sam with a face of fear.
"Y/n" he screamed, unable to do something.
Flames started recovering the ceiling and you by the same time. Sam's breath felt as if it cut and he felled to the ground, looking up at you dying under his eyes and too frightened to move.

A last scream made him wake up. Sam sat up on the bed, back at the bunker in his room. His whole body was shaking as his breath was struggling to keep steady. He tried to calm down and reached out for you on his right. Only to find an empty, cold place. As he saw you weren't next to him, Sam got up and ran out of his room. The first thing he thought about was his son. So he did run to his room.
And there you were, sound and safe with Y/s/n in your arms, singing a lullaby to your almost alseep son. You turned around as you heard Sam and smiled at him. He stood there in the doorway, still not recovered from what happened.
"Sam are you alright?" you asked as you laid your son back in his bed. You walked toward Sam and slowly touched his arm, scared that you would break him if you added more pressure.
"Sam?" you asked again, becoming more and more worried about his state "Talk to me please"
Sam sighed and immediately hugged you tight. As if he would lose you if he let you go.
"I'm sorry Y/n I'm so sorry" he said in between tears.
You gently rubbed his back
"Why are you sorry, Sam what happened ?" you asked as you pulled back to look at his face.
"Is he okay?" he changed the subject, mentioning your son
"Yes, he is. Look, let's get back to our room alright" you said as you closed the door and led him to your room. Once you were there, you sat on the bed and asked Sam to tell you what happened. And he did tell you everything. You were crying by the end, seeing how much it was paining Sam. You didn't have the words to put on what you wanted to say but Sam understood and didn't want to talk about it further. Sam didn't sleep the rest of the night. He didn't sleep well for more than a night because he was scared that every time he would close his eyes he would lose you again. Eventually one night he did sleep well, but the thought of losing you the same way he losted Mary and Jessica will hunt him for still a long time.
