Cairo woke up with a smile the next morning.

Jaemoon.

God, that man was unbelievably gorgeous. The long and wavy hair that grazed his high cheekbones, his enchantingly dark, phoenix eyes that looked so beautifully hypnotizing that he wouldn't mind staring into them for ages. His straight nose and soft-looking red lips blending perfectly with his Asian features.

And his voice. God, his voice. He has this kind of tone that is very peaceful, making you feel comforted and content.

"Cai, you look creepy like that, staring at absolutely nothing with a ridiculous smile on your face."

Of course, the grey-head had to ruin the moment, what else are best friends for?

Cairo snapped his eyes to Troy, giving him his best glare, his lips pursed as he narrowed his eyes. He looked completely harmless, almost like a triggered Retriever.

Don't tell him that.

"What? I'm just stating facts, Cai," Troy exclaimed, moving his arms up in an I-surrender gesture after seeing the brunette try even harder to bury him six-feet under just with a look.

"Sheesh, people don't appreciate honesty anymore," he continued, muttering to himself as he raised a towel to his wet hair, his abdominal muscles tensing at the action. Troy looked at his best friend who went from looking from an angry puppy to a kicked puppy, the grey-head's pale skin glistening from the shower.

Troy was a very attractive man, his grey hair that complimented his pale skin was a contrast to his bright, blue eyes, pools that looked alive with raw electricity.

He sure was short but the muscles that hugged his body firmly gave him an intimidating persona when in reality he was a complete Dork with a capital 'D'.

"What got you all smiley in the morning, anyway? Especially after moving here. I thought you would be all grumpy after a sleepless night," Troy said, pulling on a black t-shirt over his muscled torso, covering the tattoo that kissed his ribs.

It was quite early in the morning. As ordered by their Chief the previous evening, the young medics were getting ready to set up the equipment for the general check-ups.

"First, I'm never grumpy just mildly irritated by the fact that I can't have something that is very precious to me, my sleep," Cairo said as he stood up to fold and neatly arrange the thin comforters, his arms struggling to fold the sheets that were way bigger than his small figure, "Second, none of your business, Blue."

"None of my business? NONE OF MY FUCKING BUSINESS?!" Troy echoed, looking up at his friend with wide eyes as he was crouched down, leaving his shoelaces midway at his friend's response.

Cairo rolled his eyes.

Troy and his dramatic bottom.

Troy stood up, stomping his foot like a child. "Of course it's my business, Cai. You can't be all sunshine and rainbows and not tell me!"

Cairo sighed, giving in. But before he could, the two best friends heard their Chief shouting, her voice loud and clear.

"GET OUT OF THE TENT, THE TWO OF YOU. I WANT YOU IN THE FIELD IN FIVE MINUTES."

"Nix," Troy whined. "Stop interrupting us for once!"

It was a relatively bright day, the sun rays that managed to peek through the grey clouds hitting the treetops, lighting up the foliage with their golden glow. The field was busy.
