Lucius went to leave the room but quickly turned around, " Oh, and if you mention any of this to Draco, I'll" Lucius paused " Well, you'll find out if you do."
I stood there stunned; Lucius just threatened Draco's life and probably mine. I watched as Lucius unlocked the door and left the room.
After he left, Draco came into the room, " I heard yelling, did anything happen?" He said
" No," I said, looking away.
" Why are you lying, Lily?" Draco said, getting upset
" I'm not lying, Draco, now please leave me alone," I said, heading for the bed.
Draco followed closely behind.
" Lily, tell me what happened," he said sternly.
" Draco, nothing happened ok, just please go away," I said, almost raising my voice.
" Fine, as If I cared anyways," Draco huffed as he walked away, slamming the door behind him
I laid down on the bed on my back facing up toward the ceiling; I didn't know what else to do.
After a while of lying, I eventually fell asleep and was woken by a screeching noise. I smiled as I saw it was an owl.
" Hi, little guy," I smiled as I opened the window.
I watched as it gracefully flew in and dropped a letter onto the bed.
" Oh, let me get some treats for you!" I told the owl as I rushed to my suitcase, digging for anything I could find.
I dropped my head, " I'm so sorry little guy; I left Ms.Hoots at home along with all her treats."
The owl gave out a hoot of annoyance and landed on the window's ledge.
I then walked to my bed and opened the letter; I smiled as I saw Harry's handwriting.
Dear Lily,
I hope you received my last letter; I haven't heard from you in forever!
I laughed; it had only been a day.
I'm at the Weasly's now, by the way. I had to use Ron's owl because I sent mine off to Sirus. Anyways I sent you this because I was wondering if you were going to the Quiddich World Cup. I miss you; I mean, we all miss you. Hope to see you there.
- Harry
I smiled and hugged the letter; I loved knowing Harry was thinking about me. I rushed around the room to gather some parchment and find a quill to write back.
Dear Harry,
I miss you too; I'm currently staying at the Malfoy's, so I don't know if I will be attending the tournament. Tell Ron I miss him as well.
I rolled my eyes, I should mention Hermoine, but god is she annoying, I'm just staying friendly with her for Harry and Ron's sake.
Along with Hermoine.
Before I could write another word, Draco came barging into my room.
" What are you doing, Lily? Oh wait, you probably won't tell me," Draco said as he started to walk towards me.
I quickly tried to cover up the letter, but it was too late, plus I couldn't really hide the owl on the window. Draco snatched the letter I was writing from me and began to read.
" I miss you too?" Draco sneered as he began to read my letter aloud
I tried to grab it from him; I could see he was hurt that I was writing to Harry.
Draco began scanning the paper " So you want to attend the tournament with Potter?"
" Yes, I do," I said matter of factually as I successfully grabbed the paper out of Draco's hand.
But as soon as I did, Harry's letter slipped from my lap; dammit, I whispered to myself.
" Oh, is Potter writing to his girlfriend?" Draco laughed as he started to read the letter
" Draco, please stop; this is just upsetting you," I said, trying to grab the second letter from him
As soon as I said that, I saw Draco's face drop.
" He misses you? Hasn't gotten a letter from you in forever?" Draco said as he scrunched up the letter and turned to me
" You write to him?" He said, almost yelling
" Yes, Draco, I write to my friend," I said, trying to reach for the paper unsuccessfully.
" Yeah, sure seems like you two are friends," Draco grumbled, throwing the paper on the ground.
" Why do you even care?" I said, retrieving the letter trying to straighten it on my lap
" Why do I care? Why do I care Lily, you tried to kiss me earlier," He yelled.
" You tried to kiss me back, Draco," I yelled back.
" Lier, you practically were begging me, trying to grab me," Draco screamed.
" Jesus, Draco, just say you're jealous and leave," I yelled.
Draco laughed. "Have fun at the tournament with Potter Lily; I wouldn't be surprised if it's the last time you see each other," Draco yelled as he slammed the door and left the room.
I screamed as the door slammed, why is Draco so annoying, saying I was trying to kiss him. And what did he mean it's going to be the last time I see Harry? I sat down on the bed and immediately grabbed the letter I was writing to Harry.
Is there any way you could pick me up? I want to leave now. I hate Draco.
Love, Lily
I sealed up the letter and called for the owl. I watched as it flew off in the sky. I wondered to myself how long it would take for Harry to come? If he could even come.
After all that is yelling, I was extremely exhausted. I pulled out my luggage and changed into a t-shirt and PJ bottoms, tied my hair into a bun, and crawled into bed.
After a few hours of sleep, I felt a tap on my shoulder.
" Lily, are you up?" A voice whispered
I yawned and opened my eyes to see a smiling Harry to the side of me.
