Chapter 2

Abby's POV

Through out the whole the whole gym class I could tell Autumn was zoning out, I wonder why this time. We were playing volleyball so someone from the other team hit the ball and Chase with a super huge smile on his face bumped it back and hit Autumn on the face. That didn't look good.

"Ooowww!!" She said in pain while covering one eye. I ran to her.

"Are...you...ok?" I said between my laughs. She uncovered her eye to find a black eye.

"Alright everyone lets get back to the game, Abby go take Autumn to the nurse!" The gym teacher had yelled.

"C'mon lets go and you are going to have to tell me what happened with Chase and Ann!"

"Oh yea there're dating!"

"Awwww so that's why Chase had a huge smile!"

"Yeah..."

"Now tell me why you were zoning out! Is it because of a guy!" I said rubbing my shoulder next to hers.

"Maybe!"

"Oh oh is it the really hot guy with golden eyes in our math class? Or is it the nerdy, cute guy in science?"

"It's none of those guys. It's Travis."

"Who the fuck is he?!"

"He's the guy that has those really long eyelashes and perfect smile! Chase told me he talks about me a lot!"

"Oh him... Well he's a cutie." Just then we got to the nurses room.

"Hi girls what can I help you with?" She said with a bright smile. She looked like she was in her mid twenties.

"I got hit with a volleyball I think I need some ice." Autumn said while pointing to it.

"Here." The nurse handed her an ice pack. We left and headed to the gym as fast as we could.

When we got there the game was finished and my team lost.

"We lost." Bryan, the guy I had a small crush on, said.

"Uh I uh know um already."

"We lost because the most talented and beautiful player got out of the game." I think I was blushing because over his shoulder I could see Chase signaling at his face and then pointed to mine.

"Oh, thanks um I have to uh.. BRUSH MY TEETH!" I ran to Chase and Autumn. I knew that was the most stupidest excuse ever made!

"You don't know how to flirt back!" Autumn said.

"Says the girl who zoned out because of a stupid guy!" I said back. I jumped on her back and started pulling her hair. She threw me into Bryan.

"Hey I thought you were brushing your teeth!" He said joking around.

"Heh I did too!" He helped me up and I went to get my gym uniform off at the girls locker room. When I finished I tried to get to my next class which was band but three girls stopped me. Ugh they were the plastics, Jessica, Claire, and Chelsea.

"What do you guys want now? My lunch money?!" I said sarcastically.

"No I want you to sit with us in lunch tomorrow. I have something important to tell you!" Jessica (the main plastic) had said.

"No way I'm not interested." I said and walked away to my next class.
