Ellen pov: 

We got into his car and he instantly put his hand on my knee and as much as it was a shock to me it felt right being there so I left it there. 

"El I know I forgot to ask you but will you go on a date with me tomorrow night"  he asked me 

"yes pat I would love to" I replied kissing his cheek.  We made small talk and we eventually got back to mine dorm. 

"Bye Patty" I said hugging him goodbye. 

"Bye El" he replied kissing my cheek. 

I went inside my dorm and was immediately greeted by my best friend Jessica. "Jess you scare the shit out of me" I replied making her arm. "How was your date with mcdreamy" she asked em but I was immediately confused. "Whose Mcdreamy" I asked her. "Mcdreamy is Patrick Dempsey, Only the hottest baddest guy in school and has a ton of girls willing to date him and do a lot more then that and yet he chose you what the fuck did you do to him." she asked jokingly. 

"He came after me, I said I want to talk it slow especially after what happened the last two years of high school.  He said he would do whatever he could because he didn't want to lose me. And trust me I am more amazed he likes me more then you are. I mean I'm shy, I get good grades. The only plus to me is my personality and how I am automatically on the cheer team because of my scholarship." I said and Jessica just look at me and said. 

"El you are gorgeous of course he would want to and I don't blame you for taking it slow and not trusting him because of what happened in high school but I'm very certain that this situation os totally different." she said as she saw me tearing up. "el hey look at me,  on the bright side at least you get to have a date with the hottest guy in school so lets focus on that." Jessica said picking my head up so that our eyes meet. "Thanks Jess" I said hugging her "Im going to go to bed" I added going into my room and shutting me door.

 I got went into my bathroom since we had separate bathrooms and I took a quick shower and I put my vanilla/lavender body wash on my body and then I put shampoo and conditioner my hair. I got out and braided my hair into 2 dutch braids like I almost always do I after I shower every Tuesday. Its become a habit and I think because of my anxiety I do this but I don't really know. I put on nike spandex and an oversized shirt I bought at urban outfitters and then I went onto my Mac book and finished my homework I have for a couple of my classes. By the time it was 11:30 I plugged my laptop in and wen to bed. 

THE NEXT DAY

Patrick pov: 

I got up around 6 oclock for practice before my first class, I knew Ellen would be up right now so I texted her

me- good morning Ellie I figured u were up and I wanted to say ill see u during ur 2nd class and my 1st and ill bring you coffee. 

she immediately replied back 

ellie- thank you sooo much can't wait to see u and I cant wait for the coffee

My heart was immediately filled with joy. I got up and showered and got to practice by 6:30 just in time for practice. Practice finished at 8:30 and I went into the locker rooms to shower again and quickly went to the coffee shop on campus and suprisingly the coffee there is really good. I got our coffees and was early to the class so I walked in and I saw her. I ran over to her and hugged her. 

"here is your coffee just how you like it" I said smiling at her

"Thanks Patty here theres an empty seat right next to me you can sit here." She said pointing to the chair the the right of her. 

"Thanks El" I replied moving over and sitting next to her. Before we knew it class was over and we were walking to our next class. 

"So where is our date going to be tonight?" she asked me. 

"I can't tell you that its a surprise" I replied putting my arm around her. The rest of the day went by quickly. Ellen had cheer practice after school so I couldn't bring her back to her dorm. When I got home I showered and put on a nice white shirt and black dress pants. I quickly got into my car and stopped to get her flowers. 

Ellen pov: 

After cheer practice I walked to my dorm and finished my homework and showered. I curled my hair and put on a nice red dress and nude heels. I finished getting ready so I sat on the couch until he came. Around 5 minutes late I heard a knock on the door and I answered it. "Hey gorgeous" Patrick said hugging me. "Hey" I replied. "Ready to go" he asked. "Yep" I replied. He took my hand and grabbed me to the car. "So are you going to tell me where we are going" I asked nicely. "Nope you have to trust me" He replied. After a 20 minutes car ride we stopped at an old building. "What are we doing here this place looks 100 years old" I asked. "Trust me come on." He said getting out of the car and opening my door for me. We walked in and the class was gorgeous. It had dim lights and fairy light all over. The booths were made of velvet and there was a band playing. "Patrick this place is beautiful" I said.  "Not as beautiful as you but pretty close" He replied and I started to blush. We sat down and enjoyed each others presences until the waiter came and took our orders. "Ill have the steak and a beer please" Patrick asked. "Ok and for you?" the waiter asked me. "Ill have the shrimp pasta and a glass of white wine please" I asked. "of course I will be back with your orders." The waiter said and then walked off. 

"So I want to know you" He asked

"What do you want to know" I asked

"anything" Patrick replied. 

"Ok well I want to become an actress or a CEO of a company, what about you" I asked

"I want to be a racer or a CEO of a company as well, and maybe an actor im not sure yet" he replied.

we talked for hours and eventually we had to go back. We got to my dorm and he kissed me goodnight. "Goodnight el see you tomorrow" He said. "Goodnight Patty" I replied and walked to my dorm. 

I finally updated sorry for not updating I couldn't decided what I wanted to do with this chapter.
