Chapter 7

The holidays go by without seeing one another. Before either boy knows it, it's January. Louis has been planning their first date since their first kiss and has decided on the perfect date.

Sadly, they did not spend New Years together, therefore haven't kissed since Louis' party. He misses Harry more so now than before. Today, he decides, is the day that they will be having their first date.

"Mum," Louis says.
"Yes Lou?" Jay asks.
"Can I go to Harry's? I have important business to attend to," he says, as formally as he can manage.
"Would this 'important business' be the first date that I know you have been planning?" she asks, a smirk gracing her face.
Louis flushes at the question and bounces on the balls of his feet.
"Ehm, yes," he mumbles.
"Then, yes you may," Jay says, mocking the formal tone of his question.
"Thank you mummy," he rushes, before running off to change his clothes.

Louis settles on wearing a plain white t-shirt, a flannel over that, black skinnies, and a pair of classic VANS. He looks himself up and down in the mirror before styling his hair into a quiff.

Louis arrives at Harry's, but not before calling him and telling him to look cute, well cuter than he always is. He knocks on the door and Harry answers in a long sleeved purple t-shirt, a black jacket, blue jeans, and white Converses.

"C'mon Curly, we have places to be," Louis says, taking Harry's hand.
"Oh, alright" Harry says, face flushed.
"You know, you look cute when you blush," Louis says, as they begin to walk.
"Shut up," Harry mumbles.
Louis chuckles.

They get to the park, their park.

"Harold," Louis says, moving to stand in front of Harry.
"Lewis," Harry replies.
"You have not kissed me since my birthday," he says, leaning forward slightly and folding his hands behind his back.
"Hmm, maybe I don't want to. Maybe I think you're a bad kisser," Harry teases.
"Oi! I am-" Louis exclaims, before being cut off by Harry's lips.
"Happy?" Harry asks.
"Very," he replies, smugly.

"So why are we here?" Harry asks.
"We, my darling, are here because this is part of our first date," he replies.
"Oh!" Harry exclaims.
"Buckle up babe, cause I have a lot planned,"

hiiiii so it's obviously been a while. I, unlike louis, have no plan for their date so thats why I gave you a bit of a cliffhanger. anyway, thoughts on the new pov? I personally like it better than writing in first person, I think its easier to give they story more book-like elements. happy walls birth and ill write again soon.
