chapter seventeen

*Wendsday*

It was wendsday and i was really happy for some reason. Maybe because it was hump day! But i think it was mostly because Alan, Alivia, Nikki, Jordynn, Garrett, Adrienne, AJ, Spencer and i were gonna watch movies at Alan's tonight, but suppervised. So there wouldn't be any shananigans. Man I sound like an old person. Anyways, i was walking to my locker with Adrienne when i saw Spencer walk up to me smiling. I stopped putting books in my locker, and i looked at Spencer and smile back,"Hey you." Said Spencer walking up to me with a rose,"Awe you didn't have to do this you big goof ball." I said smiling,"I can take it back?" Said Spencer motioning for the red rose,"Oh, i'm keeping it." I said sniffing the rose and putting it in my locker,"You two are too cute." Said Adrienne grabbing her books and waiting for me,"I gotta get to class." I said,"Mkay, i'll miss you." Said Spencer trying to hold onto my hands," i'll miss you more." I said tugging onto my hands,"Bye." I said as he finally let go. Adrienne and i both laugh and walk to class.

It was fourth hour and it seemed like the day was going by slowly. I looked up at the chalk board and wrote down the notes. As i'm writing my notes, i got a note passed to me, from Adrienne.

What time are we supposed to meet tonight?

Wrote adrienne. I looked at our teacher then back at Adrienne.

Tthen wrote back. I quickly passed her the note.

We went back to our work on the board. After this our was band and we all had to rehearse for another pep band. While i put together my trumpet, i could hear Jordynn sware under her breath quietly,"Hey, Ms. Potty mouth." I said getting up from my seat and walking over to Jordynn who was in the back with the percussion. Spencer was a tuba, so he sat behind the trumpets, which was pretty cool. Jordynn looked over at me and looked pretty mad,"What's wrong?" I asked,"We don't have enough girls for our Basketball team." Said Jordynn,"So?" I asked,"Basketball is Jordynn's favorite sport, how dare you say, so?" Said Nikki. I sat next to Jordynn and gave her a side hug,"awe, i'm sorry Jordynn." I said then looked at Alivia, Nikki, and Adrienne who also looked dissapointed,"What if you guys joined the team?" I asked,"We're already on the team." Said Alivia,"We only have six." Said Nikki,"Yeah." Said Adrienne exhale with sad emotion,"What if i tried?" I said,"Would you?" Asked Jordynn,"sure." I said,"Will i still be able to be on the team?" I asked,"We just barely started our season, i think you'll be able to start the team." Said Jordynn sounding happier then before,"When's the next practice?" I asked,"Friday." Said Nikki,"I'll be there." I said. We all talked about other things, then we all had to go abck to our seats and go back to pratcing for our pep band.

*Gym!*

We were playing side line basketball today. Side line basketball would be great practice for Friday. Since I had to practice there too. I was doing pretty good for it being my first time actually playing. Jordynn and Nikki were giving me pointers on how to shoot, drible, pass, and drive. I was confused with the driving. When they said driving, i thought they meant like with a car. I felt like such a blonde. I putt my hair band down on the bleacher because it kept on coming out. We went outside because the gym inside was being redone. As we walked back inside the school, i walk to my locker and quickly change back into my over the waist black shorts, my yellow crop top, a white sort of sweater to go over my crop top, my sky blue sandals, and my white beanie. I felt like i dressed like such a hippy sometimes, but i thought it was a good look for me. I went outside to wait for my brother, but then i got a texr from him.

Can't make it. Gotta get a ride, thnx sis.
