Ok so I'm watching this movie called 'the half of it' and it's LITERALLY amazing it son Netflix I totally recommend anyways this is gonna be based off of the movie. Also imma make this two parts

—Y/n POV—
I'm a shy kid. Also an introvert. Friendless. I do homework for my classmates for extra cash. I also work as a station master and signalman.
It's the end of last class and I was leaving to go get my bike. As usual I got on my bike and started home. I heard someone yell for me. I ignore them and keep pedaling. They yell again so I turn around. Wilbur Soot. An inarticulate football player. "What homework do you need done." I say irritated. "No no I need you to help me write a letter" he says "a letter" I question. "Yes a love letter I'll even pay you" "oh uh ok meet me at the uh train tracks at uh 8" "ok good deal" he says and runs away.
I went to the train tracks at 7:45 so I could be there first. After a few minutes Will showed up. "Ok so what do you have for your letter so far?" I asked "uh this."
He showed me his letter which was shit. But that's where I come in. We went home and I started the letter. Well one letter soon turned into many and over the months. Also over the months I've developed a crush but on Wilburs crush.. Me and Wilbur became best friends over the months also. Nikki. Who was the girl I wrote the letters for. Who was also my crush. Who's as also Wilburs. Crazy. I know.
Me and Nikki shared the same interests in literature and art. But Nikki thinks she talking to Wilbur not me. So they're was no chance in Nikki liking me.
Wilbur invited me to a party I told him a million times I didn't want to go but he insisted. Eventually I broke and told him I would. At the party I may or may not have got drunk. Wilbur took me to his house where his father and two brothers were. He put me in his bed. The next morning I woke up to his brothers being crazy. I soon realized where I was and got up and hurried to get my stuff. I heard someone come downstairs and I turned around and it was Nikki and Wilburs father. "Oh uh hi" "hello Y/n" Wilburs father said kindly. Wills dad went upstairs and it was just me and Nikki awkwardly standing there. Thankfully and finally Nikki spoke up. "So are you and Will." "OMG NO no no I promise you no" "oh thank god" I giggled at that. "So since were both doing nothing wanna have a girls day" "I mean sure why not" I said.
We get in Nikkis car and we start driving. After a little bit we were still driving but ima different area.
There were trees everywhere and grass and other plants. It was beautiful really. We finally came to a stop. It was a hot spring. A very beautiful one. While we were there we just enjoyed each others presence.
The next day me and Will were hanging out. While we were hanging I guess Wilbur thought that I liked him. Because he tried to kiss me. I rejected him of course. I turn around and see Nikki standing there. "Nikki it's not what it looks like I promise" I try to say but she already ran away angry. That day also was when Wilbur figured out I liked Nikki. Gladly he wasn't mad.
I had church. Which I hated. But Nikki went so that was a good I guess. While we were there Nikkis boyfriend proposed with some cheesy lie about love. Nikki said yes. Which I thought was weird. So I decided to say something. I told everyone the true meaning of love. Wilbur also said some stuff. Then everyone broke out into chaos's.
—Present Day—
Well today was the day I leave for university. I was riding my bike around town enjoying the last few hours. I seen Nikki walking down the same street I happened to be riding on. I decided to talk to her. "Hey Nikki sorry about what happened in church a few days ago" I said guilty. "It's fine really."
After that Nikki may have confessed she may have feelings for me. She also told me she was applying to art school. After she tells me that I kiss her. The kiss was warm and very passionate and was very needed to be let out. I said my final goodbye as I had to go to the train or I would miss my ride to university. Wilbur was waiting at the train for me. I also said my final goodbyes to him. Well not final since I would see them both in a few years. I got on the train. I'd hate to admit it but I was sad to leave this town. May have had way to many bad memories here but I've had good ones and to think I'm leaving it all is sad. Just as the train started I heard yelling I looked out the window and it was Wilbur chasing the train. I laughed at that and waved he kept on chasing the train until he eventually got to far behind. After I observe the strangers on the same train as me.
Time to start a new chapter in my life.
