Part One: You have a daughter!

~a few days before~ 

"Alright Inuyasha I'll be back in a few days, Don't even think about following me." Kagome said, with a small glare before heading down the well. Inuyasha scoffed before heading back to the village. 

~Present day~

"Ugh this is was a great week." Kagome said, as she was packing up the supplies she would need for the trip back to the feudal era. She looked over her list while putting things in like inuyasha's ramen to Shippo's candy. Kagome felt a tap on her shoulder to see her mom holding up some box lunches. "Here dear for everyone." Mrs. Higurashi said, smiling at her daughter. Kagome smiles as she took the boxes and placed them on top. "Thanks mom I know they will love them." She says, giving her mother a hug. Kagome throws her bag over her shoulder with a small grunt while picking the box of ramen she was bringing back. She heads back after saying goodbye. Kagome jumped into the well and frowns in confusion as the energy in the well felt different as she traveled back to the past. She gasps seeing some blood red eyes staring at her as she was only half way through. "What the hell is that thing?" She screams as she noticed it reaching towards her. Kagome quickly puts a barrier up as the shadow hand screamed in pain when her powers purified it. The red eyes grew wider as it roared trying to reach for her again. "KAGOME!" It roared like it sounded more like a plead for help then hostility.  Kagome gasps with a frown as the eyes vanished as she made it to the feudal era safe. She held her hand to her chest as it was rushing at a mile a minute it. 'What was that thing? And how did it know my name? What does it want from me?' She thought, while looking at the ground.

"Oi wench what are you doing down there?" Inuyasha called, as he poked his head over the edge when he had caught her scent. Kagome snapped out of thought then looked up at Inuyasha. 

"Hey Inuyasha can you help me out please?" She asked, smiling up at him as she decided not to tell him what happened or she would never be allowed through without him.  Inuyasha just scoffed and hopped down while helping her by picking her up with the box. She smiles as she held on to him. Once they landed on the ground Inuyasha held on to her bag and box. "Come on wench we need to talk about something." He said, making Kagome look at him confused as she followed him back to Kaede's hut. She was getting nervous on what they were having to talk about. 'Is this about Kikyo? What happened while I was gone?' She thought while looking at the ground. "I'm gonna go play Grammy Kaede." A child's voice rang before running into Inuyasha's legs. 

"Oi Aoi watch where your going got it?" Inuyasha scolded softly. 

"Sorry uncle yashi!" Aoi said, smiling then ran off with a small giggle towards Rin and Shippo that were waiting for her. Kagome watched the girl with a small smile run off then realized what she had called Inuyasha.  Inuyasha scoffed then heads inside with her stuff as Kagome stood there in shock. Sango was coming out mumbling after slapping Miroku for touching her butt. She noticed Kagome's face and groaned as she glares at the door more. "By the look on your face you have met Aoi and Inuyasha didn't say anything to you. I promise its not what you think." Sango said, smiling softly at her best friend while holding her shoulders. Kagome looked at Sango with scared eyes. Sango nods with a smile as she moved out of the way to go keep on the kids. Kagome heads inside after taking a deep breath and relaxed. Miroku gave Kagome a kind smile before leaving as he knew they needed to talk in private. Kagome slowly sat down in front of the fire from across from Inuyasha. It was an awkward silence between them as they looked at the fire unable to look at each other.  Kagome looked up at him then down at her lap as she bites her lip. "S-So care to explain the little girl." She says as she got the courage to look at him. Inuyasha gulped as he looked at her and opened his mouth to talk but then closed it. He cursed under his breath while ruffling his hair trying to figure out how to put this into words. 

"I'm trying to figure the right words to say this Kagome it's not easy for me. But she came to use the night you left. We asked her where her mother was and said she would be back in a few days from visiting her family from the other side of the well." Inuyasha began to explain. She gulped and looked at him shocked. It took her moment to process the information then busted out laughing while holding her sides. "This was a nice joke Inuyasha, now seriously where did she come from?" She asked, smiling as she laid her hands on her lap. Inuyasha frowns as he looked at her with serious eyes making her frown with wide eyes. Kagome shook her head while looking at her lap. "There is no way! I can't be the mother. Are you sure she is my daughter? That I'm her mother?!" Kagome asked with panic in her voice.  Inuyasha sighed as he got up and pulled his best friend into a hug as she tried to calm down. Inuyasha was about to say something when a new voice joined the conversation. 

"You are the mother Miko." A cold voice came from behind her. 

Kagome's eyes widened as she knew that voice anywhere. She slowly turned around in Inuyasha's arms to see Sesshomaru standing there looking down at her. Inuyasha scoffed while glaring at his older brother. "I was breaking it to her gentle you bastard." He growls as he glares at  Sesshomaru. Kagome listened to the brothers while still in the state of shock. She blinked as she thought for a moment. Kagome looked up at Inuyasha with a small frown. 

"Inuyasha if I'm her mother then who is her father?" Kagome asked, making Inuyasha flinch as he looked away from her not giving her an answer. Kagome pulled away and stood away from the brothers. "Who is the father?" She growls making Inuyasha gulp as he looked at Kagome with scared eyes. 

"No wait Kagome!" Inuyasha begged, but it was already to late. 

"SIT BOY!" Kagome yells, as he crashed into the ground as Sesshomaru watched in amusement. 

Meanwhile in the field's Aoi's dog ears twitched along with Shippo's making them both giggle. Sango and Rin looked at them with confused eyes wondering what was so funny. "Uncle Yashi got sat by mommy." Aoi said, smiling bright while giggling. Sango and Rin looked at each other smiling then giggled at the thought.
