Chapter 1

Nine

I had been waiting for almost an hour now but still they haven't shown up yet. Neither did they text me.
I banged the table frustrated. I was not a very patient guy and rather a restless one.

"Excuse me sir. Your order." The husky voice startled me and as I looked up to see the owner of the voice I was greeted by a well-built man with a pair of sparkling brown eyes, thick eyebrows and a tanned skin tone.

He was the waitor as it appeared from his dress. He was really handsome and there was nothing wrong in praising someone whose worth it isn't it?

"Thank you." I finally said shifting my gaze from him to the chocolate cuppicino I had ordered. And he walked to another table.

The sight of the chocolate cuppicino really did calm me a bit but as soon as I took a sip a bang on my head almost made me choke on my drink. I turned behind to see and all this time internally cursing him.

And just as expected Ben, my bestfriend was standing there with a triumphant smile and behind him peeking was Earth, my another bestfriend, looking at me with an apologetic smile.

Earth quickly came to me and gave me a hug.

Then they sat opposite to me and just look at Ben he didn't even utter the word sorry.

"Aah!! You came so early." I remarked sarcastically.

"Sorry naa Nine. The traffic was really bad today." Earth apologized.

"And what about you?" I looked at Ben.

"What about me? I'm a very busy person. You should be thankful that I atleast came." He replied smirking.
I started at him in disbelief.

He always seeked for a chance to get on my nerves.
