Chapter - 6

Joong

"Joong! Can you hear me?" I snapped out of my trance when I heard my name being called. It was Pavel. 

"Yes P'?" I asked him.

"God! Have you seen yourself in the mirror? You look like a zombie with those eyebags. And where were you?  I called you so many times but you didn't listen." He comlained.

I knew he was telling me something but I couldn't concentrate.

After that day what Nine told, I couldn't think of anything else other than those. Here I was crushing on him from the very first time my eyes laid on him and there he didn't believe in love. I sighed and tried to listen what Pavel was telling me.

"Dude Someone is here calling for you." He said.

"Me?" I asked coufused. Why would anyone search for me here?

"Yeah he asked aoout 'the other waitor who served us that day'." He said mimicking the person. "And here we are only 2."

I ran out to see the person. I scanned the whole area until my eyes rested on the boy who was smiling at me.

He was not Nine but his  friend Earth, if I remember  it correctly. I smiled at him a little still confused that why would Nine's friend want to meet me in particular.

He waved at me indicating me to join him and I walked towards his table a bit hesitantly.

"Anything wrong sir? May I help you?" I asked.

"No. Just sit down." He instructed me and I obeyed  a bit reluctantly.

"Were you looking for someone else?" He asked in a teasing tone and my eyes grew wide. Did he knew? Was I so obvious? And did Nine... I couldn't think. 

Maybe Earth understood the sudden tension.

"Don't worry Nine doesn't know." He added. 

"Wh-what " I said and bit my tongue immediately and he started laughing loudly.

"I'm sorry I conldn't cotrol. You are too cute you know. I'm Earth Teerapet. Nine's bestfriend. I came here to help you only if you want." He said now producing his hand.

I took it although still confused of how he was going to help me. And most importantly why?

"Your name?" He asked me when I  didn't speak for a long time.

"Joong Archen Aydin" I replied quickly.

"So Joong first tell me honestly do you really really really like really like Nine?  And this isn't just a mere attraction but a real like?" He asked me in a serious tone. I composed my awe state and nodded.

"I want to hear it from your mouth Joong." He Said.

"Yes. I really like Nine and its not a atracttion or lust. I had fallen for him the first time I saw him." I said honestly.

He qave me a smug smile. "And do you know about his concept of love?" He fired again.

"Yes. He told me that last day." I replied and this time looked down not wanting to meet his eyes.

"So what are you going to do now? Will you back off?"

"No. I'll wait and try my luck." I said really meaning it. Although I was not sure how but i would atleast try.

"And if you succeed will you be able to keep him happy? Pamper him? Tolerate his mood?" He asked.

"Yes. I will keep him like a doll. Even if he's moody I'll always pamper him like a baby but would treat him like a prince. He is too valuable for me." I  said confidentially looking up.

"Will you be able to fight the whole world for him?"

"I'll fight with everyone if he is beside me." I said.

"Very good. I'm impressed. I knew from the very first time I saw you staring at Nine that you were something. And when I saw you that day coming out of Nine's car I was at first confused because Nine doesn't even allow me or Ben to get on his car but he allowed you. And finally today I'm sure you'll be able to win him." He said proudly, while I just stared at him blankly.

"Don't worry I'll help you in this okay?By the way you already cleared your first step smoothly." He said this time patting my hand.

"What step?" I asked.

"Steps to make Nine fall for you. Steps of love."
