Chapter - 10

Joong

I was looking at Earth pouting. I didn't like lying to Nine and recently I had been acting a lot infront of him.

Earth sighed. "You really want to win him right?" He asked. I nodded.

"Joong I know that its not good starting a relation with lies but if you really want him and want to get him you need to put on these acts. He won't come to you easily it is the only solution believe me." He said trying to make me understand.

"I know that but if he finds it out you know right he wouldn't even talk with me. Last day I almost had my heart out in my hand when I had to play that stupid act to pass that step. And today you are telling me to act drunk so that he takes me in his dorm? What if he finds out?" I stated nervously.

"I know its a risk but you also know that he has some soft corner towards you and if you don't utilise it, I can't gurantee you Nine. Look over there. You already have so many competitors. You still have a chance on him just because of his strong guard but if he gets tired and puts it down. You know what can happen." He said angrilly.

He was the one helping me and I had been doubting on him only. I felt guilty but at the same time angry as I saw two boys staring him.

"I'll pass the 4th step too" I muttered and went to sit beside Nine. Earth sat beside me on the other side.

We were at the bar, everyone enjoying the drinks. Just then another guy walked to us and as soon as Nine saw him he stood up to hug him.

I looked away from them disgusted and Earth whispered in my ears.

"This is your most toughest competitor. He is Dome. Nine's good friend. And you are almost both on the same level. Only if you can get to Nine's dorm you can beat him in something." Now I had to do it.

Once Nine sat down beside me again I whispered to him.

"P' Nine. I think I am drunk" I said trying to act like one.

He was still sober as he looked at me worried. "Joong." He called me but I acted like I passed. I knew it was another stupid act. But I had to do it.

"Oh shit he passed? Guess he is not a heavy drinker." Earth said supporting the act.

"Don't tell me you gave him something strong." Nine asked Earth, and from his tone it was evident that he was angry.

"Yeah he asked for it. How would I know that he couldn't take it?" Earth was intentionally trying to piss him and I was sure indebted to him for that.

"Leave it. Now how am I going to take him home? I don't know his dorm." Nine sounded strained.

"Take him to your dorm then." This was Ben.

"Mine?!" Nine gasped aloud.

There was a minute of silence and I wanted to see their expression mostly Nine's.

"Do one thing. Take him to my house. He can stay there." It was Dome's voice. I mentally cursed him for that. What if Nine agree to that? The thought of it only made me cry.

"No. I don't want to burden someone. I will take him with me." Nine said in a straight voice and I wanted to hug him for that.

"Lets go." This time Nine's voice was right beside my ear sending me shivers down the spine.

And the next moment I felt two tiny hands crept up on my back trying to pull me up. My head was resting on his shoulder with one hand on his other shoulder and the other one swaying in the air. I tried to not let all my wight fall on him or he might be crushed, while mumbled some words like "P'Nine" or "home".

I let him carry me to wherever he wanted. I didn't care where I was going as long as I was with him.
