"Hi welcome to Mariah's - oh hey Niall"

I smiled as I balanced Rian on my hip, looking over the baked goods inside the glass container at the counter.

"Nice to see you too, Luke" I eyed the chocolate muffins a little too hungrily and my son seemed to sense it too as he started tapping the glass.

"Hi Ian! High five!" Luke reached over the counter to hold his hand up for Rian and my little boy slapped his little palm against Luke's.

"Luke! We have a customer at table 5!"
Calum appeared beside the blonde, covered in flour and hair almost as white as my dad.

"You ok there Cal?" I asked, amused and Rian had this little hands over mouth, eyes wide.

Same kid, same.

"Yeah I got a little- Az was teaching me to make cookies"

"Teaching" Luke snorted. Calum glared at Luke and I had to cough to stop their glaring.

"Hello? Customer here? I need some good ones guys, Anne is coming with Des and Gemma" I said, once again eyeing the muffins.

My little baby seemed to know what it wants now.

"Oh I gotcha, Calum get the little bags" Luke gave us a promising smile and started packing up all the goods and some extra muffins.

"So where's Harry?" Calum shook his hair and a lady who was by the cashier gasped as flour got on her face.

I stifled a laugh as Calum gaped at her as she stomped off with a huff.

"Uh-oh. I'll pay you to not tell my boss that"

I waved it off as Luke started ringing up the goods.

"He's at his clinic, practice remember?"

"Right" Calum nodded.

"Hey Niall, it's done!"

Calum gave Rian a little wave as we made our way to the cashier, I paid and made promises with Luke to hang out with the group soon as we went out the bakery.

Luke and Calum have been working at Mariah's Bakery for a few weeks now since they miraculously figured out having gigs at the bar near the university didn't pay well for rent.

Ashton and Michael got fired from a smoothie joint because they were making the customers sick with their kissing and (a lot more kissing) so they're looking for separate jobs now.

I strapped Rian to the baby seat at the back seat and got into the driver's side, revving up the engine.

Just as I was about to start, my phone rang and I sighed, putting the car in park again as I answered it.

"Hey"

"Niall!"

"Louis?"

"Niall, where are you right now?"

"Just outside of the Mariah's Bakery, why?" I asked, confused.

"Oh great you're close! Look, Liam forgot to tell me he had a client so im stuck in front of Johnny Rocket right now"

"Go catch a cute guy Lou"

"My fishing days are over, Styles. Just come and get me please.

"Yeah, I'll be there in 10"

"WAIT"

"What?" I asked.

"Are you with Rian?"
