I was trying to reach anne but she wont answer my text and calls. She didn’t talk to me and she kept on avoiding me for days.
The week where her family was going to join us for dinner she was not around.
Her mom told me she was sick and she stayed at home.
So after dinner I asked if I could go and see her .
When me and her parents arrived at their house I saw her in their living room playing video games .
“dear were home already” her mom said
“im here in the living room mom!” she shouted
When she turn around and saw me her reaction was like a person who saw a ghost.
She was in her oversize shirt and pajamas .
“hi! Glad to see your okay already I brought some food” I said
“brian wanted to check on you dear “ her mom said
“mom! How could you” she whined
“I’ll leave the two of you “ her mom said and left the both of us in the living room
Anne and I went outside on their front yard to talk.

“why are you here?” she asked
“I wanted to talk to you about what happened“ I said
“did she said anything to you?” she asked again
“so you want to tell me something?” I asked
“brian stop answering my question with a question” she said
“then give me answers” I said feeling frustrated
“im not in the position to tell anything” she said
“she told me you like me” I manage to say
“and that you were jealous “ I continued
“wait what? I was jealous? I never said that” she said on disbelief
“obviously she did not tell you everything” she said
“tell me what anne?” I asked again
“that you like me? Is that why you can’t tell me?”
“fine! Yes I like you I guess but I was never jealous bri”
“I just found out too and I was not sure” she said
“can you both just talk this? She wont let go on what happened” I plead
“really bri? I just told you I like you but you want me to play friends with her” she said

“it’s just I don’t want for the both of you to fight and I don’t want to take sides” I said
“so I’ll adjust again just for her? You know what bri? Just choose her I don’t care and I don’t want to be part of any drama you two have” she said
she walked pass me but I caught her hand
“anne please don’t do this” I said then she broke free from my grip
“I don’t want to loose my bestfriend” I plead
“you already did bri” she said and went inside the house
A month has passed both anne and I were not in speaking terms anymore. She completely cut me out. In her socials and in her life.
When we see each other at school it’s as if she does not know me.
I was supposed to meet with my bandmates in the coffeeshop where I saw anne was also there. I was about to approach her when I saw a guy that I didn’t recognize sat on the empty chair In front of her.
They seem to be close.
