Chapter 1 : Pinky Swear

Summer before college while we were walking on our way home she asked me if im gonna get my drivers license so that I can drive going to school and I could pick her up.

We live in the same street.

I said I’ll try as I really don’t like to drive.

“if ever you get one promise me that I’ll be the your first passenger” she said making me do a pinky swear

“and also tell me ahead of time so I can bring a helmet” she said

“I’ll probably drive a car, why you need a helmet?” I asked curiously

“just to be sure, you’ll probably be bad at it” she said teasing me

“yah!” I said

“im joking , actually half joking” she continued teasing me

Then freshman year went smoothly for the both of us. Though we both met new people and had made some new friends.

At that time I had my eyes on someone at our school she was a year older than me a sophomore

“you think she would go out with me?” I asked her

“hmm, I think so. Why would she not go out with you” she said

So months later the girl that I liked became my girlfriend.

I was happy with her but the thing is she told me that she doesn’t want me to hang out with my bestfriend anymore.

I tried to reason her out with this but she wont take no for an answer.

So I talked to anne about this.

“huh? Your pretty girlfriend is jealous?” she asked

“it’s just she’s not comfortable with us hanging out” I said

“okay “ she said

“you are not mad? “ I asked

“hmm nope, why would I be mad”

“you wont totally cut me off right? We could still hang out sometimes right? “ she asked

“yup, but im really sorry I had to ask you this” I said feeling sorry

“nah it’s okay, I would have done the same if my boyfriend would asked me too” she said jokingly

“you have a boyfriend?” I asked

“future boyfriend I mean” she said

So after that we didn’t hang out for quite some time though we send messages from time to time but I really felt that we were drifting apart

I saw some of her post on social media where she went out with her blockmates and celebrated her being top of her class.

So I told her that my mom invited them for dinner nextweek and she should come which she agreed.

Three days later I saw her and my girlfriend fighting in the school cafeteria.

I was trying to get in between them.

“stop both of you” I said and I was in the middle of both of them

“she started it first” my girlfriend said and she was soaking wet

“she went up to me and poured the glass of water in my head” she continued

Then I look at anne who was still glaring at her

“why did you do that?” I asked her

“ask her why” she said and left

I asked my girlfriend what happened and she said hat she does not have any idea why she did that

“that so unusual of anne to do that without a reason. Did you two fight?” I asked her

“are you defending her now? After what happened?” she said feeling pissed off

“I was just asking im not taking sides until I know what happened” I said

“well you better take sides I wont let this slip. I was humiliated in front of many people” she said

“please don’t do this” I said then hugged her

“you wanna know why? I was talking with her the other day and she told me she likes you. I guess she was jealous that’s why” she looked up at me

“I bet sooner or later she’ll tell you bad things about me” she added

I was trying to reach anne but she wont answer my text and calls. She didn’t talk to me and she kept on avoiding me for days.
