in which mingi and yunho decide to go out on a movie theatre date to watch a soft disney film but soon find themselves distracted and wanting to do things other than watch a film. luckily for them, the movie room was empty, allowing them to do whatever they want as long as they kept quiet.

3RD POV

grabbing his mocha coloured coat, yunho slung it on whilst he hurried over to the front door to meet his boyfriend, mingi, for their movie date. they were five minutes behind schedule as they had gotten distracted playing mario kart on their nintendo switch but they presumed it should be fine and that they would get to the movie theatre in time. finishing tying up the laces of his doc martens, yunho then stood back up and looked to the side at his red haired lover. smiling gently to himself, he saw mingi was distracted looking in their hallway mirror at himself ; double checking he looked decent and presentable for their date.

"min, you look fine." yunho exhaled softly, looking at him honestly and sweetly, as if telling mingi with just the look in his eyes that he meant what he said - it was reassuring. holding his hand out for mingi to take, yunho continued speaking, "what movie are we going to be watching again?"

mingi turned from the hallway mirror, dorkily and lopsidedly smiling back at his partner, holding the other's hand and using his spare hand to grab the house keys and his wallet. answering him, mingi chuckled at the thought of what they were going to watch, "frozen 2." from the response the other gave, which was a gasp and a bright smile, he could presume yunho was happy to hear about where they were going and what they were watching. squeezing the smaller's hand once , the red haired male opened the door and lead them both out, "i know how much you like those disney movies, so i wanted to just rewatch your favourite with you.. well, second favourite - cinderella isn't being played any time soon."

rolling his eyes playfully, yunho thanked him for choosing a movie he really liked and pursued asking questions about which movie theatre they were going to and why mingi was being so secretive about it. though, his boyfriend wouldn't budge and refused to explain to him his motives or plans for their date. how odd.

only letting go of yunho's hand to close and lock their front door, the taller kept his back to yunho , only laughing at the other's whines , complaints and attempts to get an answer out of him or even his attention. pocketing the house keys, they both walked in a now comfortable silence to their car, yunho now being quiet as he realised mingi wasn't going to tell him ; he didn't actually mind that though because he knew no matter what mingi did, it'd always make them both happy. he trusted mingi.

once they had walked down the stone steps to where their mercedes-benz was parked, yunho was the first to enter the matte black car, pulling the handle and sliding into the passenger seat, to which his boyfriend soon followed suit but for the driver's seat. it didn't take long for mingi to type in the location for the theatre into the gps so once he did, they began their travel to it. already, yunho was distracted and making mingi occasionally wheeze; he was "singing" along to the radio. not necessarily well, but it was amusing them both as he purposefully caused his voice to break and alternate pitch at the wrong times. currently, 'heat waves' by glass animals blasted from the speakers and , of course, yunho began to sing along to this song too. mingi would occasionally glance to the side to see what his boyfriend was doing, grinning every time because they'd lock eyes and just have a moment between themselves of chaotic neutrality.
