finishing up my outfit, i tied up the laces of my doc martens, standing up properly again, looking at my outfit, just to make sure it wasn't too obvious i had been spending hours trying to plan it all out to look nice.

i had a mocha coloured beanie on, long earrings , a white graphic shirt tucked into ripped mom jeans, a longish light brown coat over it all too , a chain attached to part of my jeans too.

smiling slightly at my reflection, happy with how i look- i checked my phone to see the time, noticing i had around ten minutes until i had to leave. a smile forming on my face once i saw a text appear from a certain special person, quickly responding to him.

turning my phone off, i smiled brightly at the texts, happy with what was happening. i can't believe after three years of knowing each other and being in the same dance cover group, the person i have loved for a long time asked me out on a date !!

smiling gently again, grabbing my house keys , putting them in my pocket as i left my house, locking it before beginning to walk, i thought back to the day mingi asked me out.

"hey yunho, can you come here a sec, we're discussing dance partners for the group dance, you'll have a one minute moment with your partner" taeyong called out to him, gesturing for me to come over.

putting down my phone, i stood up and walked over, smiling at them, glancing at the sheet.

"oh i don't really mind who i go wi-" i began, being cut off by someone wrapping their arm around my waist, resting their chin on my shoulder.

"i wanna go with yunho yongie~" mingi spoke, smiling at me from my shoulder, causing my cheeks to heat up.

"sure , perfect!! you can go for the rest of the day but we're performing to 'Face' by woosung so please prepare a piece for that!" taeyong smiled at us.

mingi nodded, taking my hand - walking out with me after we both grabbed our stuff.

"yunho pup can we go to the park a sec, i need to say something" mingi spoke, smiling down at me.

i nodded, grinning at my nickname.
it was near sunset so we both held hands, nearing the park as we walked in comfortable silence.

once we had reached the area under a cherry blossom tree, mingi turned to me, looking a little nervous but nevertheless he smiled, moving a little closer to me- beginning to speak.

"what i wanted to say was.. well, yunho. since we met three years ago- all the way back in november 2017- i've wanted nothing more than to protect you, look after you, cuddle you, kiss you.. you're so beautiful, amazing, smart, adorable and funny and you make my life so much happier... i was wondering if you'd maybe like to.. become a more permanent figure in my life. i like you so much.. wo-would you go on a date with me?" he finished, letting out a nervous sigh.
