Fighting Style:

Victor has been trained in several different forms of combat, in ranged, magic and hand to hand. He is quick to change styles.

Ranged Attacks, Victor uses his Calchuv H-44 and his focusing rod. The rod, or magic wand if you will, carries a mage stone that is charged with Victor's magic energy. Victor uses the rod mainly for teleportation. Victor will take a sniping position and fire at a target, launch his rod like a lawn dart to a different spot, teleport to that area, and take another sniper position, and so on. Add in an ammo pouch of magically charged ammunition and Victor can be a one man attack squad.

Magic: Victor mainly employs magic before the battle even starts, to avoid prolonged use. He is exceptionally skilled in surveillance magic, being able to sense heartbeats, smell gunpowder, hear enemy communication, and identify magically adept life forms from decent to long range distances, depending on how much he concentrates in a specific area.

In magic application at closer ranges, Victor tends to use teleportation and disorienting spells. He'll cast artificial shadows, fog, disembodied noises or use concussive blasts to demoralize or confuse/damage his enemies.

As last resort, Victor deploys his seed bag, his dragon familiar and Hand of the Gods.

Seed Bag: He will toss a genetically engineered seed, charged with an immense amount of magical energy, into the ground. On his command, the seed will grow with explosive force into an uncontrollable bramble-like weed.  Basically an organic hand grenade, the weed will grow to the size of an average home owner's back yard, shredding everything it can grab. The weed's life is short lived, lasting only about a minute each. Currently, Victor's seed bag only holds 10 seeds, which Victor holds onto with great protectiveness.

Dragon Familiar: The spectral power of Intrigan dragons is within Victor's power to wield. He has two means of using this familiar. He can cast it as a large spectral beast that will fight as a stand in, breathing fire and shredding foes for the next minute while Victor takes respite or helps his teammates, or he will directly absorb the familiar, enhancing his vitality, strength and magic for a longer period of time.

Hand of the Gods: The last and most powerful attack used by Victor. Taught by his close friend and mentor in magic, this attack is a word spoken in the language of the Almighties, the high gods of creation. Once the Word is spoken, Victor focuses a massive amount of magic energy into his right palm. When Victor strikes an opponent with that charged hand, the energy is instantly passed into the opponent. It acts as a magic bomb going off in the opponent's mind and body. Magical opponents will find their connections to the mystic arts instantly and permanently severed. Any magically charged items on the opponent will instantly be obliterated. Organic tissue on point of contact is withered and blasted apart. The decay will spread to the entire body within minutes, causing agonizing pain, unconsciousness and lastly death. The opponent can be saved if highly advanced clerical healing is applied immediately, but most often, the opponent is left vegetative and without the ability to use magic, with the opponent often wishing for death.

The attack is a double edged sword, because although it is a dangerous attack, the attack itself draws upon the life force of the wielder. The wielder cannot draw energy from magically charged items while using the attack. Once the attack is cast, the wielder, in this case, Victor, will be exhausted to the point of incapacitation. For this reason, Victor carries 5 mage stones in his right gauntlet to re energize himself should he ever have to use such a dangerous attack, although on principle, Victor sees the attack as a damnable punishment to even the worst enemy, and would only use said attack if it were an extremely dangerous, evil and uncontrollable enemy.

Melee attacks

Simply speaking, if you get close enough to Victor to engage in hand to hand combat, you will find that Victor is the dirtiest and deadly brawler around. His goal isn't a battle of attrition. He sees you as a legitimate threat, and will opt to take you down permanently as quickly as possible. He takes his melee combat training from his teacher Azrael, a large, retired war dragon, who taught him how to be a fighter. He goes to break bones and slice pressure points at any given opportunity. Victor carries his collapsible Banesteel dagger, and Magisteel dagger as quick extensions of his arms, going for quick and deadly strikes while dodging and weaving through his opponents attacks, while occasionally wielding his focusing rod like a mace. He will go for heavy strikes and kicks to fracture limbs and bring enemies down, so he can either deliver a death blow with his daggers or a killing shot to the head with his G-12 side arm.

Weaknesses:

Prolonged firearm damage: Victor has simple wards cast upon himself in battle along with his scout armor, to protect himself fro enemy fire/shrapnel, but he isn't invulnerable to automatic and heavy weapons. An automatic firearm can pierce through his wards after a 10 shots or so, depending on the caliber of weapon. Though his armor vest and shoulder pad can stop a 7.62 round, prolonged fire can shred through the armor and wound/ kill Victor. Just...he ain't gonna stand still for ya after the first shot, that's for sure.

Curses: Victor as well as anyone is vulnerable to curses if they're not careful. Affliction magic is dangerous to anyone and can incapacitate Victor.

Exhaustion: Victor's use of magic and physical prowess is draining in both body and mind. Although Victor is very conditioned for combat in using magic, he is not meant to exert himself in prolonged fights requiring both. Continued use of magic while defending against opponents will be exhausting and possibly deadly for Victor. That's why the closer an opponent gets, the dirtier Victor gets with combat. He ain't in it for honor...unless he really takes a liking to you. He's in it to win.
