❝ 𝔠𝔥𝔢𝔢𝔯𝔰 ❞"Look at her, my gorgeous princess," Maya simpered as all the attending ladies stared at the glow of a very dandy Terra. She brought both hands on her shoulders throwing a broad beam of glee as she brushed away a feigned teardrop with her other hand.
Terra beheld her reflection, marvelled at what she was witnessing; she had never experienced the thrill and giddiness of looking pretty for once before, and she would have cherished this memento, this precious milestone within her bosom, and being encircled by people whom she was fond of and who were in return fond of her certainly heightened the uniqueness of this feeling.
"Don't you dare cry," Maya cautioned her as she surveyed the degree of emotionalism she was undergoing, "I didn't do all this work for nothing."
All the girls leered at her with disbelieving gasps, "But you didn't do anything." Musa punctiliated, giving her joky little nudges, an amused mirth decking her face.
"You've been glued to the door the whole time, complaining about hurrying up." Bloom drew in, Maya's jaw lolling open as she assumed a steadier pose.
"Exactly! If it wasn't for my whizzing comments you'd probably still be there, right Terra?" She glanced over at the girl with a glimmer of expectant bracing, but Terra was too engrossed in gawping at her face.
"Right, always blowing me off." Maya half grumbled, Musa patting her on the top of the head in mock assurance.
The girls made it to the party, pacing and flanked by boozing and clubbing people, music loudly wafting through the entire academy, lots of snogging and other stuff going on, stuff that Maya didn't witness as she was quick to avert her head; Maya had settled for an up-do bun, a blu bell-sleeved dress which consisted in the sleeves ending at the mid-forearms, with a flare flowing down towards her hands, with a bell-like shape. She had then picked out a simple jet black jacket that she would put on in case she felt chilly.
Lark would have been entertained if he had turned up, certainly if it wasn't for the poor shape he was in at the moment.
"What is this place?" Bloom pitched up her voice amidst the music, in order to be audible.
"The east wing of Alfea." Terra began to unfold, "They used it to prepare for war, but since there hasn't been one in a while, no one comes here," She smirked, eyeing around, "Except for tonight."
"Do you need a beer?" Aisha offered, eyeing Bloom, who was growing quite unnerved.
"I need a beer."
Meanwhile, Maya and Terra crossed their arms jointly and carried on trudging among the deranged students' entities.
"Looking for anyone in particular?" Musa tagged along with them.
"Uh-no, no. I'm just looking for a place to put these." She stammered bashfully, situating the tuppleware on the table.
In the interim, Maya grabbed a cup in her hand, gingerly slurping up the liquid only to get utterly grossed out, having never tried anything like it in her life, "Yuck!" She commenced to cough, sputtering the disgusting liquid from her mouth as a chuckle emanated over her back.
"What's the matter doll, too sensitive to drink?" Riven's face was downturned due to the stark contrast in height, only inches above her neck, his extremely heated exhale entangling Maya's whole backbone.
She huffed in consternation, fully backfiring, almost ramming against his thorax from the unexpected closeness, "Please! I am not a tiny little princess!"
"Really?" Riven sneered, testing her with a ravenous look, his face edging up closer to hers, Maya backing away lightly, " Prove it."
Maya peeked at the glass out of the corner of her eye, uncertain about grabbing it, chugging it, and causing a mess; she lifted it anyway, pondering her options as Riven observed mildly caught off guard by the fact that she was about to do just that. Honestly, he didn't want anything regrettable to occur, he wasn't a bloody machine unable to exhibit any sort of concernedness towards anyone else and that's what pissed him off marginally.
Whatever the petite girl who permeated his mind through day and night was doing to him was not something good, and the fact that he did not even understand the basis of it all made him somehow irritated. Beatrix didn't make him feel this way either, despite the tongues forced down their throats and their bodies united, and yet the comely Maya, just with short bits of communication, was able to shift things in him anyway.
Maya was never one to take any kind of risks; she would rather gauge the circumstances and then cope with them, yet the junkie boy towering above her was swaying her assertive persona right now. It was as if he was eliciting ill-advised conduct from her, and Maya couldn't quite put her finger on what might be triggering it.
Neither of them could, so they boozed their dilemmas away.
They both hoisted their cups and clattered them against one another,"Cheers."
Not so proud of this chapter, I have been feeling not so well recently.
Anyway, I was wondering, as soon as I'm done with the first season of this story, to make another fanfic on Silva, would you be interested? Forgive me but I'm a simp for him too heheh.
Let tell me know if you would be into it, cause if you are then I may have it already prepared ;)
