you broke down into tears. you hid your face in your palms as your body shook.
how i wanted to hold you in my small arms, hug you, kiss your forehead and tell you it's okay, i'll never leave you again. but i couldn't, without your permission.
"take me back?" your words were barely above a whisper, but it echoed in my heart loud and clear. there i had the permission i needed.
