i completely forgot about another trouble i have to deal with. 

i left the cafe to chase you that day, and forgot all about my meeting with taehyung. so i had to talk with him again, to apologize for standing him up. 

it was a normal conversation until he started flirting with me again, like he usually did at work. i stood up and politely told him that i had to leave. it was about time you'd be off work, and i know you'd be exhausted. you'd want me to be waiting for you at home. 

but taehyung wasn't having it. "i noticed you've become much happier this past week, jimin. i finally saw your smile, it's way more beautiful than the grumpy face. i think i like you more." 

i wanted to run to you so you could protect me, but i had to be strong for myself. 

"i'm happy because i got my boyfriend back," i said, trying to keep my voice calm, "i'm taken and have no interest in you so i hope you know your limits." 

his eyes darkened and grabbed me like a tiger to its prey.
