THE TIME PASSED BY RATHER QUICKLY AND Yuki got to her parents' agency in no time. She walked through the big entrance doors, greeting the receptionists, and pressed for the elevator to come down. The company seemed to be almost empty, it was expected at this time but she knew later on it would become busier because she noticed how late her parents and Reiko would come home lately, which only meant that the crime rate increased during the night. When the doors opened, she was welcomed by her father's warm expression, "Kiko! What are you doing here?" He hugged her tightly, walking out of the elevator.

"I made cookies and I came to drop some off for Reiko in case she doesn't get home tonight, brought them while they were warm. I don't know if they still are though..." the man looked outside of the company and noticed that the street lights have already turned on. It seemed that they lost track of time again.

"We talked about you waking alone during the night, it's not safe for you—"

Yukiko didn't even let him finish, it was crystal clear what he wanted to say anyways so she rubbed his forearm reassuringly, "Don't worry dad, I won't let those self-defense lessons go to waste. Plus I have an emergency button on my phone- but you already knew that," she smiled at him and her father quickly pulled her up in his embrace. His big heart melted at her words, he couldn't believe his little daughter was becoming such a strong young lady. He was still scared for her safety. "Dad, I can't breathe!" He let go of her and ruffled her hair softly, "Oh, and I'm going to pick Haru up from grandma so you don't have to worry about that."

"Yukiko, I literally just told you how unsafe it is out there, now you want to take the train to the other side of the town and then back home? That's too risky!"

"Dad, I'm fourteen, I know how defend myself and I know how to take a train safely. You don't have to worry! You guys are already going to be really tired when you come home and it wouldn't be safe for you either to go to the next town and come back. Actually, it would be more risky for you than me, not only will you have to carry Haru on the whole journey but you'd have to make sure you're awake and you're safe from danger. And in case someone attacks you, what are you going to do with Haru? Put him down and let him watch you guys fight? I know you two are good superheroes, you're not the number 5 and 6 heroes for no reason, but what if this time you're going to deal with some evil genius with an op quirk? What if someone else is with him but you don't see them? They could take Haru without you noticing it. What are you going to do then?"

"You worry too much for a 14-year-old. You forget how long we've been heroes for, young lady. I appreciate that you care about us and it's good that you try to plan ahead, but we've been doing this all our lives. Plus you're in danger too, your powers aren't as good as a pro-heroes, as much as it hurts to hear, you still have a lot to train and you're less experienced than us. How would you save Haru in a situation like that?" Her father had a clear point, but she already thought everything through.
