Naida weaved in between the trees, her barefeet pounding on the forest floor. She ran until she couldn't breathe. She looked up in the trees and tried to regain her breathing. She saw Grey standing on a branch.

"Miss me?" He asks with a grin. She smiles in response. She heard rustling in the bushes, and saw Suri pop out. Grey drops out of the tree, and lands on his feet without difficulty. He taps her shoulder. "You're it." He says handsomely before running as fast as he can in the other direction. A horn blares in the distance signaling curfew. The group began to run back. They arrive to a clearing in the trees, large houses sit in the tree tops. Naida begins to climb the ladder that's in front of her. The red hair that hangs from her head sways, her elf ears match her personality; sharp. She get's to the treetop without difficulty, and opens the trapdoor that sits there. Her mom sits on a chair by the dining table, she faces the window, staring at the blue sky.

"You okay mom?" Naida asks as she pulls herself into the room. Her mom jumps slightly at the sudden noise, but not enough for Naida to see.

"Yes." She says, Naida knows she's lying, but doesn't say anything about it. Naida begins to cook some boar meat. She cooks it until it's done, and then she dishes it onto two plates along with some carrots. She sets one of the plates down in front of her mother, and one in front of herself. They eat. After dinner Naida goes to bed, she has trouble sleeping, and just lays there for a few hours. Her eyelids finally begin to become heavy, and close over her pale blue eyes. Naida walks to the window and without hesitation, she leaps. Her tan skin is replaced by Green scales, and wings come out through her back. She feels exhilaration, but she feels calm all the same. She soars over the trees, towards the sunrise.

"Naida! Wake up," She sat bolt upright. "Grey's here!" Her mom called to her across the hall. Ever since she found out about her father, she dreamt that dream. Every night without fail. She was half dragon. She noticed nine years ago, that she could do things others couldn't. She could feel the earth, and the vibrations that came from it. She could hear the forest speaking to her. She could command the forest to do what she wanted it to do. Her mother told her that she was half Dragon, and like everyone from the dragon lands, she could transform into one at her will. However, her mother told her to never do it in front of anyone, because they would try to hurt her. She'd only morphed once in her whole life. It only took Naida about two minutes to get dressed. She didn't have to worry about her hair, because it always looked messy, no matter how she did it. Naida ran across the hall to find Grey talking with her mother.

"Hey sleepy head." Grey said, grinning at his own words

"Hey, slow poke." She responded. He smiled an even larger grin at her words. Naida walked to the door, and opened it for him. He walked out, and she followed, grabbing her cloak as she exited. They climbed down the ladder quickly, and walked over to the three people watching them. Suri; Naida's best friend. Erik; Suri's brother. and Kova; Grey's twin sister. All of them begin a chase.

"You're still it Naida." Suri says cheerfully. Naida grins

"I'll give you guys a ten second head start." Her grin grew slightly. Everyone ran except Naida. She counted to ten in her head, and ran. She ran as fast as her legs would take her. She felt the forest telling her where everyone was. She paused for a moment, and listened. She looked to her left, and ran. She saw Suri there, and she pat her on the shoulder. The moment after tapping her shoulder, she booked it straight ahead. She ran about thirty yards, and got to her knees. She placed her hands on the soft dirt. She knew where everyone was, and knew where she would have to move to avoid everyone. She climbed up a tree, and moved the branches so no one could see her. She heard noise below her, and knew it was Kova, she must be it.

All of a sudden the horn blared. Naida instantly became more alert. The horn only blared when it was almost curfew, and if there was an emergency. She began to climb through the branches; telling the trees to catch her, she ran, and never had to look down. She was still in the trees, she just ran, occasionally she would grab a higher branch and swing from it onto some more branches. She made it back at the same moment the others did. Suri, and Grey were standing in trees, whereas Kova and Erik were standing on solid ground. they dropped out of the trees, and knew right where to go; the war room.
