(Robin's PoV)

I wake up with blinding lights around me. I groan and blink my eyes to clear my vision. I hear the familiar beep of a heart monitor. I suddenly see needles hovering above me. I blink and they are gone. I start hyperventilating and struggle to get up. I look down to see leather straps binding me to the hospital bed. I blink again and they are gone, replaced with tightened sheets. I slide off my bed as wires and tubes detach from me. I blink again, this time my mother stands above me. I stare at her, frozen to the ground.

"You need your check-up, precious~" June hisses. I blink and she is gone. My eyes shift from the floor to my bed, the chairs, and to the door.

"Dramatic much?" the voice hisses in my head. I nod slowly. I look to the door and see Steve walk through.

"Thank God you're alright." Steve shouts. He runs over and picks me up. "Tony was so worried."

"How long was I out?" I croak. I swallow hard, hoping Steve wouldn't say what I think the answer is.

"A few days at least, no one thought you'd survive." Steve whispered.

"How's my dad?" Robin asks. She smiles sweetly, oblivious to Tony's desicion.

"Stresses and most likely drunk into oblivion." Steve comments.

"That is where Capsicle is wrong." Tony pipes up from the door. Robin smiles brightly and jumps out from Steve's arms. Tony holds out his arms as his daughter runs to him and they both crash into an enormous hug.

Tony laughs in delight and happy tears pour from his eyes. Robin is clutching him as if it is all an illusion.

The heart rate monitor gets louder as more muttering voices fill the room. Her world starts to shatter apart, Tony fading to dust and falling down an endless, black void. Robin stands there for a split second before tumbling down the void herself as whispers of past conversations fill her ears.

"William Drafton's Boarding School for Girls."

"F***"

Nightmares fill my head.

"Oh God."

I kept calling, this all felt like it was real.

"Steve I-"

I try to wake up, but my eyes won't open as if this is my world.

"Dangers of Iron Man."

Flashbacks of dad coming home speed through my mind. Not once did I come out of the house though.

"Desicion."

Suddenly I stop falling and I just float there. There is no darkness left, but mirrors. All show me one where I was wearing a dress, another one I was wearing rags, another, Iron suit, and one where I wore a tired, weathered look, my Iron suit beaten and battered, I had a burn scar running down the right side of my face and body, there were bags under my eyes, and my eyes seemed blank.

All of them jumped out at me, shaking me wildly.

I gasp awake, panting heavily. All eyes turn to me, Tony's regretful eyes, Steve's worried eyes, Natasha's serious eyes, Bruce's stressed eyes, and Thor's utterly confused one.

"Lady Robin! You have awoken from your unexpected slumber!" Thor greets.

"Thor, you might notice that this is not supposed to be a happy occasion." Natasha hisses silently.
