"Caroline, what are you doing?" Her friend asked as they sat outside the Mikaelson mansion. Caroline forced a smile at Bonnie as she tried to speak.
"I needed you to stop. I couldn't let you kill him. If agreeing to go to New Orleans was the only way so be it, but why not come with me. I would have you as my friend and what's keeping you in Mystic Falls anyways?" Caroline asked as she stared into her friends brown eyes.
"Uhm." Was all Bonnie said when a tear rolled down the side of her cheek.
"Please Bonnie." Caroline said in a soft whimper. Bonnie looked at her blond friend who was hurting and gave her a tight hug.
"Okay." She whispered into the vampires ear. Caroline pulled away from the hug and flashed a bright smile at her friend.
"Yay!" Caroline cheered and the girls laughed at each other. "I guess we're going to New Orleans." She smiled.
"I guess so." Bonnie said as she smiled at her best friend unable to think about leaving everything and everyone else behind.

"Are you almost ready, love?" Klaus asked as he walked into Caroline's room. She looked at him for a moment before sighing.
"I can't pick what to not bring." She laughed at herself and Klaus had a grin stained on his face. "Okay I know that that sounds so vain and whatever, but I have a lot of great stuff." She chuckled.
"I'm sure you can manage. You can buy new clothes in New Orleans. There are many great shops." Klaus told her. He watched as Caroline went through her entire closet. He smiled at how he knew she looked beautiful in everything she owned and would look gorgeous in absolutely anything. He suddenly brought himself out of his thoughts as Caroline stopped talking to herself. He watched as she stared at something in her closet.
Klaus moved over to look at what she was staring at and he smiled. He saw her fingers linger on the beautiful blue dress he had gifted her for the party. He had never seen anyone look so amazing before and he smiled at his memory.
"Hello, earth to Klaus." Caroline was calling when Klaus looked at her confusedly.
"What?" He asked calmly. She looked at him and then sighed and went back to her closet. She still stared at the beautiful dresses that had been given to her from the original hybrid.
"There isn't much of a need for a ball gown is there?" She asked quietly almost hopeful that he would bring her dresses. Klaus hesitated for a moment before grinning to himself.
"Maybe I could send someone to fetch them after our arrival in New Orleans." He said calmly. Caroline then turned her back to Klaus in attempt to hide her smile.
"Thank you." She mumbled in a soft voice. Klaus nodded and then stepped out of her bedroom. He pulled out his phone and dialed the number of his older brother.
"Elijah, I have done it. We will arrive tomorrow." He said happily as he waited for a response from his brother.
"Congratulations Niklaus. I will be expecting you then. Is there anything else I should know?" His brother asked. Klaus contemplated telling his brother about there extra guest and decided he should.
"Her friend."
"Excuse me?"
"The Bennet witch. Caroline wanted her friend to come. Bonnie Bennet will also come to live in New Orleans." Klaus said in an irritated tone. He could tell Elijah was smiling at Klaus' annoyance in his plan.
"Very well, Niklaus. I shall see you tomorrow." Elijah said in a calm and charming voice as he hung up the phone. Klaus then sighed as he watched the blond beauty in the room next to him contemplate on whether or not to bring an extra pair of shoes. He smiled to himself.

"We really can't take a plane?" Bonnie asked her friend ignoring the original beside her. Caroline looked at Klaus and rolled her eyes.
"I don't know he said something about it being easier to take a car." Caroline glared at the hybrid for a moment before returning to the witch. "That's okay though, because we love road trips and we will have so much fun." Caroline said as she plastered a smile on her face. They then both turned to look at Klaus' black car. "I call shotgun!" Caroline shouted as she raced over to the front seat as her and Bonnie laughed at each other.
"Fine, whatever!" Bonnie said as she got into the backseat of the black car and pouted. Caroline couldn't help but to chuckle at her friend's disappointment. Klaus looked at both of them and then entered the car himself and began to drive.
No one said anything for awhile, but Caroline could feel Klaus' gaze on her as she shifted nervously in her seat. They had been sitting in the car for about three hours before Caroline finally spoke.
"You don't happen to have any blood bags do you?" She asked quietly refusing to meet Klaus' gaze. He smiled at her.
"Well their is a picnic site coming up if you would like a snack." He said calmly. Bonnie and Caroline both gasped and glared at the hybrid. Caroline sighed.
"I don't like feeding on people." She mumbled, but Klaus could hear her. He frowned at the blond vampire and then motioned to Bonnie that there was a cooler by her feet.
"And why is that, love?" He asked while a smirk remained on his face. Caroline looked at him and then quickly stared back to the passing trees out her window.
"I've had bad experiences with it." She said that and nothing more. Klaus chuckled for a moment, but quickly stopped when Caroline frowned at him.
"I'm sorry what kind of trouble have you had with feeding?" He said more sensitive now. Caroline looked at him as Bonnie handed her the blood bag and she nodded at him. Caroline bit her lip and stared back out the window.
"When I was a human, a vampire compelled me to date them and be used as basically a personal blood bag." She paused for a moment and could feel how tense the situation had become and could feel Klaus' anger beside her. "Let's just say it's not fun." Caroline commented awkwardly. "I don't want to do the same to anyone else." Klaus looked at her angrily and Caroline could see the yellow in his eyes as she tried to nudge herself away from him without falling out of the car.
"Who did that to you?" Klaus shouted at the blond. Both her and Bonnie were frightened as they watched the angry hybrid. Caroline bit her lip as she stared at him waiting for him to calm down. Once the yellow in his eyes faded she took a deep breath.
"I really doesn't matter." She frowned. Bonnie then sighed.
"It was Damon." She said clearly. Klaus then turned his attention to the witch in the backseat and growled. Klaus then looked at Caroline who was trying to wipe away her tears without anyone noticing.
"Bonnie!" Caroline shouted at her friend and Klaus looked at Caroline confusedly. He then looked at the witch who nodded to him as if making sure he knew that she was speaking the truth.
"It happened years ago, I'm over it I just don't want to hurt people." Caroline said as she looked at Klaus staring into his light blue eyes and forced a smile. He relaxed his muscles as the girl stared at him kindly and he tried his best to return the smile. "Thank you." She whispered to the hybrid who couldn't help, but smirk at this.
Caroline then turned on the music as she smiled at the song the popped up on the radio and quietly mumbled the lyrics to herself. Klaus watched her carefully as she became lost in her thoughts while she hummed to each song that came up. Klaus was shocked that he who has lived a thousand years knew less songs than her.
For a few hours the car ride remained like that. Caroline looked out the window as she quietly sang along with the radio while the Bennet witch stared at her phone with her earbuds in. Klaus stayed content as he listened to the beautiful voice of Caroline Forbes.
