"Welcome back to Mystic Falls." Caroline spoke in a cheerful voice to her friend. Bonnie looked at her and smiled knowing the Caroline was in pain.
"Caroline are you sure you don't want to go back?" Bonnie asked her blond friend carefully. Neither of them had really loved being there, but Caroline belonged there. She belonged somewhere other than Mystic Falls. "Maybe we can travel the world or go to college." Bonnie said with a smile.
"No, I deserve to live in a life full of boring nothingness. I don't even deserve you as a friend." Caroline whined. Bonnie rolled her eyes and pulled her friend into a hug.
"Caroline you deserve everything in the world." She paused to look into Caroline's blue eyes. "It's not your fault." She spoke softly as Caroline whimpered into her shoulder.
"I feel so guilty." She cried. Bonnie looked at Caroline confused as she said this. Caroline noticed her friends confusion and continued. "When I found out he was cheating on me I hated him. I wished he was dead and now he is dead." Caroline began to cry even harder now.
"Caroline you saved him when me and Klaus were gonna kill him." Bonnie suddenly stopped. "He was my friend and the last thing we did together was me torturing him. At least you got to say goodbye." Bonnie was now crying.
"What is wrong with us. We can't both be crying." Caroline tried to laugh making her friend chuckle at her attempt.
"We are ridiculous and we are leaving Mystic falls." Bonnie said through laughter. Caroline looked at Bonnie and smiled.
"Thank you." She said.
"For what?"
"For being my best friend. You went to Mew Orleans with me and you are always there for me. I don't know what I would do without you. I really need to step it up to be on your level." At this point the girls were hugging while laughing very hard.
"How about Paris?" Bonnie said with a bright smile on her face. Caroline nodded making Bonnie's smile even wider.
"Let's go to Paris!" Caroline shouted as she put her arm around Bonnie. They couldn't help but to laugh once again.
"Goodbye Mystic Falls. We will go to Paris and then figure it out from there. Who knows, we may never come back!" Bonnie shouted. Suddenly Caroline frowned. "What's wrong?" Bonnie asked her friend.
"Bonnie, we can't. You have to go to college and find someone and live a long life. We can't spend years traveling the world when you're only human. You have limited time." Caroline said looking at the floor. Bonnie sighed.
"Who cares. That's part of living." Bonnie said with a faded smile.
"Bonnie, you can't just skip college. I know we both applied and I'll go with you. Maybe we can travel the world after." Bonnie was now frowning.
"Maybe you could just turn me into a vampire." Bonnie mumbled. Caroline dropped her jaw and stared at her friend in disbelief.
"No!" Bonnie was confused at Caroline's sudden anger.
"Why not?"
"Bonnie, you hate vampires. You said you would never want to be one. You can't change your mind so we can travel the world." Caroline told her friend. Bonnie sighed.
"I've been thinking about it. All of our friends except Matt are vampires and I don't want to grow up without you guys. I love you Care, and I want this." Bonnie said. Caroline still stared at her friend in disbelief, but now smiled.
"Really?" Caroline asked trying to hide her excitement. Bonnie nodded. "Yes! We are going to be best friends for literal eternity!" Caroline shouted making both the girls laugh again.
