We were summoned to the capital, and initially, I assumed it was related to the recent expedition.
With orders to wear our ODM gear and capes, Jean took a moment to reassure me, "Don't you remember what I told you? You can tell me anything."
"Well... If you say so," I sighed, preparing to share what had been on my mind.
"I've been thinking about the female titan," I began, glancing at Jean.
"I think I know who it is," I said.
"Wait... Who?" Jean eagerly responded.
"It has to be..." I started, only to be cut off by Connie's abrupt entrance.
"We're leaving, lovely lovebirds!" he exclaimed, then strolled back out.
"Wait, what?" I turned to Connie in surprise. Since when did he know?
"I heard you guys, don't act clueless," he chuckled.
"So what? Get outta here," Jean draped his arms around my shoulders, shooing Connie away with a casual wave.
