Titan
I woke up with Jean by my side, feeling the soreness in my legs. How on earth am I supposed to walk today?
The secret I haven't shared with Jean lingers, but I'll tell him later.
Checking the time, I saw what I wished I hadn't. The girls would be here in 10 minutes.
"WAKE UP!" I whispered-yelled.
Jean, with a glance at the time, understood. He got up and left.
We both took showers, one after the other, making sure we were good to go.
Since we slept with clothing on, we were ready. I did a bit of leg practice to make them feel a little more normal.
Plus, the pain will fade quickly—I never skip leg day.
After cleaning up the mess we left, a knock echoed, and I shouted, "Coming!" to let them know.
I ran to the door and swung it open. Sasha's eyes widened. "Woah, did you get any sleep last night?" she pointed out my eye bags.
"Not really. I was processing what the hell happened," I admitted, avoiding sharing too much.
"Umm, okay," she responded as I ushered everyone in.
"I'm gonna go speak with Jean," I informed the girls, met with nods.
Walking to the guys' room, I prepared to reveal my secret to Jean and Eren.
I knocked on the door, summoning all my courage. To my luck, Eren opened. "Oh hi, [Name]. Here for Jean?" he asked.
"I need to inform you and Jean about something. Can I speak with you both?" I asked Eren.
"Oh, I remember you told me you were gonna tell me something!! Yeah, sure. Stay here," he said before going to get Jean.
Waiting by the door for them to come out, Jean greeted me with a side hug. "Hey, [Name]."
"Okay, so I promised you both. I would tell you a BIG secret," I began, to which they both nodded.
"Promise you won't judge me," I said, looking down.
"I promise I won't judge you," Jean assured.
"I won't promise," Eren responded, prompting an eye roll from me.
"I don't wanna be seen as a traitor, so I'd rather inform you now... I have titan abilities," I revealed, and they both froze, scrutinizing my not-so-small figure.
"What kind?" Eren asked, breaking the silence.
"It isn't classified. Depending on the situation, my titan kinda takes a form... if that makes sense," I truthfully answered.
"Why haven't you told anyone else about this?" Jean asked.
"Scared. That's the reason," I admitted.
They both nodded.
"[Name], after you eat, you have to come with me to tell Captain Levi," Eren suggested. "I can convince him not to let the other cadets know about your powers. Also, so you can help me train a bit," he added, finishing his thought.
I nodded in agreement.
Jean was silently pondering. "I won't judge you; I'm just kinda surprised," he said, making me release the breath I didn't know I was holding.
TIME SKIPPPP
"Let's go," Eren urged.
I nodded, placing my plate in the dishes area, and followed Eren to see Captain Levi.
After asking for permission to enter, Eren casually dropped the bomb, "Captain, [Name] is a titan too."
Levi looked at me, and the room's tension became almost unbearable. I kept my gaze fixed on my shoes, feeling the weight of the revelation.
"Is that true?" Levi asked, cutting through the silence.
"Yes, sir," I confirmed.
"You will now be helping Eren get better with his titan," Levi declared, standing up.
"I can see you don't want the other cadets knowing yet. So I'll leave that up to you. But the higher-ups have to know," Levi said, brushing past us.
"Told you it wasn't gonna be that bad!" Eren exclaimed happily.
"I guess you were right," I smiled.
"Let's go to Hange. She will let us know what we have to do," Eren suggested.
"Let's go." With that, we both ran to find Hange.
