Prologue

What if I told you that the world wasn't so blank? So mundane. What if I told you that there were dragons, merfolk, unicorns? What if there was magic? Beyond open fields of green and skies of azure patterns there lies a world far beyond the knowledge of the everyday joe. A world of castles, secret houses, shady streets and trains coloured in bright red paint. You may wonder why it is hidden- I wonder it too.
Over the years I've heard many stories. Stories about merfolk, secret chambers and powerful witches and wizards. But this one was my favourite. It took more than one person to tell the whole story and I'd like to think that we've all learned something new when listening to the different points of view.
Ask anyone, this is the story I think of when I feel alone. When I feel down. Like a comfort blanket to a child, this is mine. So now, it's my turn to tell the story.
Today, I'll be telling you the story of a couple who paired at the most hectic of times. A time or war, uncertainty and loss. But a time where they were able to find each other, lose one another, and love forever.
