Makoto is a little bit weirded out when it comes to affection. He doesn't really know what to do and he's afraid to put his hands where he doesn't want you to.

But he loves it. He loves hugging you, he loves being close to you. The more he learns how to not be awkward or the more he learns about affection, the more he'll do so with no shame.

A daily kiss on the cheek, perhaps a nuzzle on the nose. Making you laugh is his favorite affection of the day, especially if you're having a bad one.

[B ♛ Bonding]
(how did you bond together?)

Before you lost your memories to the Killing Game, you're sure you were besties in Hope's Peak Academy. And that's alright! Because you're both a little awkward sometimes.

And Makoto would be fun to talk to and you would love to talk to him when he's alone. He always enjoyed your company, more and more every day. Bonding over things you say or agree with. Getting closer and closer, because being apart feels alone.

Makoto talks to you about all his problems after learning the fact you'd do the same. He never wants to put anything on you to stress you out, he has enough trauma from his nightmares.

When you listen as he talks, he really appreciates that and is completely honest with you and communicative with you. So much so that if he sees a shift in your mood, he'll be alerted and talk to see what the problem is.

He knows you'd do that too.

(are they dependable and do they depend on you?)

He depends on you to a certain extent but he would never want that to feel pressure. He wouldn't say so out loud in fear of pushing you away. He depends on you to be by his side when he needs you, which is why you will be the Vice Principal of Hope's Peak Academy.

(do they put effort into a relationship?)

Makoto is not smart with the whole relationship deal, it was hard enough to wrap his brain around how to give a significant other affection.

He's learning, small gifts on special days or when you're in pain daily during the months. 

He'll take care of you as well, not because he feels like he should but because he wants to. Buying you pads or tampons if needed, as well as chocolate, food, and medicine. He might've learned how to do this by asking help from Kyoko...

(if you get into an argument, will they forgive you?)

If you two get into an argument, neither of you will be happy about it. He doesn't like arguing with you at all and almost wonders if half of the time if it's his fault.
