A/N hi guys I just wanted to make this note to tell you that this is my first story so if I do something wrong or you have any recommendations please comment on them so I can make a better story for you guys, and the other thing is that English is not my main language so if I write something wrong please comment that too, so with nothing else to add enjoy the chapter
Narrator p.o.v
We find ourselves in the city of Liberio, more exactly in the Interment zone, a ghetto, that's where the Eldians, also known as "devils" lived. Walking around the streets, was a kid named (y/n) (l/n), he was also Eldian. His parents were taken to Paradis for being Eldian Restorationists, but he didn't know that. So he now lived in an adoptive family
As he was walking down the street, he heard people in an alleyway, his curiosity getting the best of him, he decided to go see, he poked his head through a corner and saw a group of kids surrounding a blonde girl, (y/n) would have intervened, but his fighting skills were as good as a newborn, if he fought a pigeon he would lose. But then, the blonde girl single-handedly demolished the group of kids, with an almost perfect technique, the group then ran away, bruised and some crying.
(y/n): (woooooow)

He was astonished by seeing a single person taking down 3 so quickly. But the girl seemed to notice his presence and turned around in her fight stance
???: what do you want? are you a friend of them?
(y/n): N-no! I heard sounds and I wanted to see what was happening! I swear!
She still had her fighting stance, thinking if she should believe him or not, but after a quick examination, she saw him as a wimpy kid, and that she will not have any trouble taking him down if he tried something.
???: Right... I'll be leaving then. Follow me and I'll beat your ass.
She turned around and began walking away to the opposite exit of the alleyway, and that's when an idea came up to (y/n)'s mind.
(y/n): h-hey can I ask you something?
???: what do you want?-she said turning her head to look at you
(y/n): can you teach me how to fight, please? I get easily picked on and I can't defend myself- as you said that your eyes started watering a bit.
She saw (y/n)'s eyes and saw that he wasn't lying, but she wondered, why her? He only saw her fight once, and he has met her recently, why should she accept?
???: why would you ask me to train you?
(y/n): well because you took down a group of kids all by yourself, so you must be really strong! -he said while flexing his arms-
after a minute of thinking, she accepted, with the look on (y/n)'s face was impossible to say no to him, plus, someone had to take care of those kids so she won't be bothered by them anymore and she also preferred to be busy training someone than being with his group of "friends"
