The Day Before The Expedition

???: please Petra, go with (y/n).

Petra: why?

???: to keep an eye on him.

Petra: he's going to Mitras, that's where the Military Police Brigade is, and I'm sure he won't get in trouble.

???: With his Titan power he is more strong than all of them.

Petra: he won't do anything

???: how do you know?

Petra: because I know him better than you.

???: come on Petra, I know you like him.

Petra: what?! no!

???: you can't deny it.

Petra: screw you. I won't do it, goodbye. - after that, she left.

???: damn... Hey ???.

???: so, how did it go?

???: she won't do it.

???: so what do we do now?

???: I don't know.

???: How about he goes with the girl named Frieda?

???: no, he is going there to visit her and Annie... We can't do anything about it, but I know that Annie isn't going to abandon the mission, she's a warrior, I trust her.

???: I trust her too.

(y/n) p.o.v

After doing my usual morning routine, I went to Mitras in a carriage, after a few hours and being on different carriages, I finally arrived at the gates. I first searched Annie, but I didn't found her, I even asked for her at the Military Police Headquarter, but her roommate told me she was on a mission, so I decided to go to Frieda, I hadn't had the chance to come and talk to her, all of the month was training and this day was the only free day. I went to a secret door the palace had, I knocked on it a few times and after some minutes Frieda opened the door.

Frieda: (y/n)!

(y/n): Frieda!

Frieda: wait, aren't you supposed to be with the Scouts?

(y/n): well, we have a free day today.

Frieda: why?

(y/n): because tomorrow we have an Expedition outside the walls.

Frieda: really? - she looked concerned.

(y/n): yes, but don't worry, I'm going to be safe.

Frieda: I hope.

(y/n): did you forget I have the War-Hammer?

Frieda: that is the problem, you know the Colossal Titan and the Armored Titan are people walking among us, what if they try to capture you in the expedition?

(y/n): I won't let them.

Frieda: ok... I trust you.

(y/n): thanks. Well aside from that, I was wondering if you wanted to go walk.

Frieda: sure, I don't have anything to do at the moment.

(y/n): great!

After that, we went walking around the streets, we ate some food, but then Frieda had to leave to finish something, she didn't tell me what it was, she just said it was something important. I didn't want to go back to the Scout Headquarter, Hanji would probably want to experiment more, and I am now kind of scared of her.

Flashback

Narrator p.o.v

Everyone was outside the Headquarters, they were in their free time, everything was calm until footsteps and shouts were heard, they sounded closer each time, then they were close enough to see who was making them, it was Hanji and (y/n).

Hanji: (y/n), come here!

(y/n): no! I don't want to be part of your weird experiments, you still have those Titans!

Hanji: I only want to see how hard can you get!

(y/n): don't say it like that! you make it seem weird! 

Hanji: just come here!

(y/n): never!

you were running until you were next to Mikasa.

(y/n): Mikasa help!

Hanji: grab him!

Mikasa grabbed you by your arms until Hanji came and tied you.

(y/n): betrayal! I trusted you, Mikasa!

What came next was Hanji doing all sorts of experiments with you, making things with your hardening abilities, some of them more twisted than others

End of flashback

I began to go to a sort of abandoned place, it had buildings but there were no people on the streets, I wasn't even sure if I was still in Mitras, but it was very quiet, so it was nice to walk around there until I saw a yellow light and pieces of what seemed to be a carriage flying along with horses, it was like someone transformed, it was pretty far away, I ran to where the light had come from and heard a gunshot, followed by another one, then I saw a guy, he was wearing a red shirt, and had something that looked like a handgun.

(y/n): hey! what was that?

???: I don't know man, you better get away from here.

He kept running until he was out of my sight, and I walked forward, curious about what was that light and why was wooden parts flying around.

I was about to turn the corner to see the situation, but a voice interrupted me.

???: Who are you? And what are you doing here?

From her voice, I could recognize her, she was Annie.

(y/n): Annie?

Annie: (y/n)? what are you doing here?

(y/n): well I was wandering around when I came upon these streets,  then I saw a bright light and pieces of a carriage flying, then this dude came and shot me. But what are you doing here?

I had finished speaking when Annie was in front of me, she pinned me to the wall with force.

(y/n): A-Annie?

Annie: remember the night of the graduation?

(y/n): yeah, I do, why?

Annie: forget everything I said.

(y/n): what? why?

Annie: I don't want anything with you, so get away from me.

She said it with a cold voice, but I could hear a different feeling in her voice.

(y/n): w..what?

Annie: just get away from me.

She walked away and I just stood there, not knowing what to do, Annie had already left. After a few minutes, I started to walk again, returning to the Survey Corps Headquarters. And after some hours I arrived, I didn't want to do anything, I went straight to the basement and slept. I just wanted to forget about what happened.
