The light from the lamppost flickered as Lalisa kept walking in the dark.

She just headed where the road would lead her.

It was a rainy night.

The raindrops clattered, pit-a-pat.

A rain filled with sorrow and melancholy.

A rain of regrets, just like her heart.

She got a call from an anonymous number. She declined it.

Once.

Twice.

Thrice.

But the number was persistent. Giving up, she received it and heard a voice.

"J-jungkook?"

"Don't hang up." He said and the voice echoed.

She saw a faint figure walk towards her.

Rather, someone.

The light from the lamppost glimmered his face.

It was him.

Jeon Jungkook.

Only the two of them in the deserted road, feeling the heavy rain pouring on their heads.

He was still in his performance costume. He ran his way here.

"You left your concert midway?"

"I did, for you." His voice echoed through the raindrops.

She strode across the road ;
with every step her heart thumping louder in her chest.

He admired her, his angel was coming back to him.

His light was here, to heal his deep concealed scars again.

He picked her from the ground and hugged her ever so tightly.

In his embrace was her home.

And looking into her eyes, he kissed those lips that he'd been wanting to feel the moment he had first heard her voice.

A beautiful sigh of emotions left their lips as they parted.

"Remember you said you will find your way back to me. Please come back, Lali." She could hear the sincerity and pain in his voice. She nodded.

"I missed you so much Jungkook." She cried in his embrace.

He kissed her forehead and stroked her hair,"Some promises are not meant to be broken."
