In His Garden

It was bright and sunny
A typical summer day
He was outside
The hot and humid air surrounding him
He liked the outdoors
It was beautiful

He walked through his backyard
Reaching the end
To see his garden
He grew fruits and veggies
He snuck a few flowers too
Not like his parents would mind
Right?

He picks a bloomed flower
Smelling it he smiles
"Smells of something sweet"
He'd say
No one was around
But he still spoke
He didn't mind
It was peaceful

The boy crouched down
Putting the flower down on the ground
He stood up again
He turned on the sprinkler
Leaving it on
Watering the plants lightly

He exits
His Garden
