Klaus's pov

Me and Hope were playing beer pong while Stefan is fetching Mikael.

"You have a visitor." One of my hybrid, Mindy tells me.
I reply her "Well, tell my visitor I'm on the brink of victory here."
She told me "He said his name is Mikael."

Disappointed, I throw the ping pong ball into a cup.
"Don't worry everything will be fine. I'm with you." Hope tells me which eases my nerves.

" Then we mustn't keep him waiting. Move everyone out back. I'm gonna have a little chat with my dad. Tony, you know what to do."  I say
We goes to the front door, Mikael is at the doorway.

"Hello Niklaus."  He said.
"Hello Mikael. Why don't you come in, oh that's right you can't." I taunt him.
"I am not here to fight you." He replies.
"Oh don't lie you've been trying to kill me for ages. Why on earth would you stop now?" I reply him getting angry
"Yes you're right. I did try to kill you for ages but now I am going to stop." He replies shocking everyone. But on the corner of my eyes I can see hope smirking. Wait is that what she planned? I don't get it.
"And why would you do that ?" I ask him still not believing him.
"Because I have found bigger purpose in life than to haunt you forever." He replies.
"I don't get it. You spent centuries haunting us, trying to kill us but now you're just letting it go, like it never happened." I told him

"Look Niklaus, I have found a bigger purpose in life. A reason to live. Now I want to enjoy it. So I am here to make peace with you. I would never come after, so will you. We'll go on our separate ways and never see each other again. What do you say?" He ask me.

I am not sure what to say. This has been the most shocking day in my whole life. I feel hope's hand to slip into mine.
"Make the deal with him. Trust me." She tells me.
I sigh and ponder her words.
"Alright! I agree with it. But just because Hope is saying so." I tell him.
"Good ! Now you complete your end of the deal." He says pointing towards hope which is shocking me beyond my mind.
She made a deal with him to let us go. I don't understand how?

"How do I know that as soon as I give you the address you won't kill me along with him?" She asks.
So she did make a deal with him. But how. What is so important that Mikael is ready to spare us.
"Fine what do you want?" He asks. He is bending to her. What in the world is happening?
"I want the white oak stake." She says and all of our eyes widened.

"How do I know that you won't kill me as soon you get it?" He asks
"Fine. I'll burn it in front of you. Would that be enough?" She asks.
" Alright. Come on." He says.
She goes to get out of the house but I stop her. "What are you doing? He'll kill you." I tell her still paranoid.
"Don't worry. If he wants the address, he won't." She tells me.
What address? I am still baffled to say anything.

She goes to him. He gives her the stake and she burns it. I take a breath of relief to see that bloody thing burning in front of me.
Then she gives him a slip of paper.
"If you are lying then I'll find you and do things worse than death." He threatens her and leaves.
She just smiles towards him and come back to me.
"Hey Nik. Can I ask you something?" She asked me.
"Of course little witch. But you have to tell me how you did that." I tell her.
"Can you release Stefan from your compulsion? " She asked me.
"What? Why would you do that for me?" Stefan asks.
"Please . Come on you don't even need him now. Please. Pretty please." She gives me her puppy eyes which are destructive, trust me. I mean with those eyes she can ask me for my life and I might give her, that destructive. I can't say no those eyes.
I sigh " fine." And she squeals.
I remove my compulsion from Stefan and he just says thank you to hope and leaves.

"Come on little witch. Let's get you home." I tell her and take her home.

Third person pov.

To say that the scooby gang was shocked would be an understatement they were furious, confused, shocked and disappointed by tonight's result. They expected that they would be free of Klaus. But no that freaking witch have to come and ruin everything.
Elena was furious. She thought that finally she would be free. She would no need to be a walking blood bag but no that bitch ruined everything.
Damon was curious of what could she have offered Mikael that made him behave like that.
Bonnie was confused how she managed to pull that off. How could a witch befriend the original vampires like that. How could she bend Mikael to her will.
Stefan was furious but also thankful. She made Klaus remove his compulsion. But he is filled with rage and now he will take his revenge.
