The quarreling Giyu and Shinobu look up at the crows spreading the message above the forest. Immediately after realizing the situation was resolved, Giyu turns from Shinobu and runs out to a path that led out of the woods. Although the sun was rising, the tree's shadows still darkened the face and figure running toward him.
Probably one of the Mizunoto, he thought.
As the two swiftly run past each other, he gets a glimpse of the silk-like black hair with a few burgundy strands from the corner of his eye. Her skin glew beneath the sun, and his eyes widen a moment after their eyes meet. The cool blue orbs and the burning red ones. However, the two continue running.
"Y/n . . ."
He isn't one to think too deeply about such matters, but he gets distracted ever so often since that encounter.
