I groaned as I rolled over in my bed.

The light was shining through the blinds but everything still felt like darkness as I woke up yet another morning without Daniel next to me.

I sat up and threw my messy hair into a quick ponytail before getting up.

My feet hit the cold floor, shivers going through me as I grabbed the throw from my bed and wrapped it around me.

I made my way downstairs, trying my best not to slip as my eyes barely opened to view what was in front of me.

My brother, already sat at the counter, looked up at me with a huge grin on his face.

"Why so grumpy?" he asked, noticing my frown.

"I miss him" I sigh.

"You always miss him" he laughs.

"I know, you're not helping" I mumble before sitting down at the counter in the stool next to him.

"Cheer up, you've only got three months to go" he comforts, rubbing my back.

"Don't remind me" I huff, laying my head down into my arms.

"Pancakes!" my mom cheers, placing a plate of food in front of me.

"I'm not hungry" I barely whisper.

"Oh come on Y/N! Where's that beautiful smile of yours?" she exclaims.

"Clearly absent" I say before walking to the couch and slumping down.

My mom sighs and walks over to me, sitting down.

"Well, how do you feel about getting out of the house for a little bit?" she asks.

"I'll pass" I mumble.

"Stop being an ogre. Get ready, we're leaving in half an hour" she smiles before retreating to the kitchen.

I groan and drag myself up to my bedroom.

Grabbing my clothes and a towel, I make my way to the shower.

Once I'm done, I blow dry my hair and decide to leave it natural.

My energy levels only let me put on a little mascara and lip gloss.

I walk down in my black jean shorts and white hoodie.

"Are you for real?" my brother laughs.

"What now Kian?" I give him a death glare.

"You're seriously going to wear that out?" he asks.

"Do you have a problem?" I ask, raising a brow.

"Nope" he replies.

"Let's go!" my mom grabs her car keys and walks out the front door, me and my brother following behind.

"Bye Stacey" I mumble to my sister and slam the door shut.

I force myself into the back seat; my brother in the passengers and my mom in the drivers.

"So, where are we going?" I fake smile.

"I won't tell you if you don't change up your mood" my mom smirks.

"Fine" I sigh before clearing my throat.

"Where are we off to my most splendid mother?" I bat my eyelashes as she looks at me through the mirror.

She chuckles before replying "To the airport".

"Wait why?" I furrow my eyebrows in confusion.

"We have to pick up your aunt Isobelle" she smiles.
