"You, think he'll be okay? The kid i mean" the minion asked, his brain starting to regain sense.

"I think so." Alice Signed back trying to focus on the feathered shadow as her sense came back as well, "I just wish you didn't send him on his own".

The minion casted down its head as he had something to continue on.

"You know you could've stayed with him right?" he said chuckling a little bit, "I can tell you're worried, he's capable for his age, I can tell."

There was a dead silence between them as the minion continued to speak his mind.

"You know him more than I do, if anything the kid sounded more worried for you than you are for him, a-and you're older."

Still there was silence, Alice tried focusing on the feathered shadow as he waited 'till they were done. She was ready to go, but was the minion?

"You don't have to act so tough around me. I can see you wanted to go with him, y-you can still go to make sure if he got home safe-."

"But not with this guy around us" Alice signed snapping.

"Really, hey I can take him, you can go find the kid if you like." the minion looked as Alice looked away hiding her expression.

"Fine think whatever you want, but we take this guy first and then we go..alright?" She snapped again.

"Right" the minion replied back unsettled by her response.

She signed one more time, "I don't want him to follow us to him, he's become a threat to us more than he ever was before, we take him now or not at all."

"H-hey you still there or?" he shouted to the whispering shadow. "W-were done now."

"About time" he said exaggeratedly giving a stretch, "let's dance".

He leaped from the second story where he was watching down to the main floor. All together they stood for a few seconds in silence, until a very quiet sneeze came from Alice. All together the seriousness broke again for a good minute or two.

"s'cuse me" she fingered.

Everyone broke their fighting positions as well.

"You're fine" sighed the whispering shadow.

"No worries" replied the minion.

They looked at eachother dumbfounded and all at once made the leap to fight, Alice rampantly wiping her nose and leaping unpreparedly. The feathered shadow struck first attempting to attack the minion, Alice struck a counter move with her broken leap and their fight had begun. It was all reflexes of the quickest kind as each smack of a fist and each crack of a kick and shout echoed within the library halls. All together they whooshed and leaped around trying to be moving as much as possible as they became considerate and careful of library's interior as can be along with the artifacts it contained. Halfway through the feathered shadow made a strike mid air on Alice causing her to fall back and roll few feet. However this made the feathered shadow vulnerable for an attack from the side by the minion in which he dodged successfully making him roll into a counter almost knocking fragile components over. All were exhausted, but still managed to pull off a defending stance.

"Had enough?" the minion shouted.

"not exactly yet" the feathered shadow laughed, "but if you like we could take a break."

The minion snapped preparing to fight again "not a chance shady"

The whispering shadow laughed, "was that supposed to be funny? I mean it kinda was to be honest"
