Eleanor had walked around for maybe an hour, bitter thoughts swarming her mind, and to her luck it even began to rain while she was wandering aimlessly.

A lot of her thoughts contained the key words fuck and Five and Hargreeves and a variety of colourful vocabulary onwards from that.

The rain dampened her hair and she found herself wanting to find a bar and drink a whole lot of alcohol until the familiar warmth and accompanying emptiness was all she felt. Right now, she felt a lot of rage.

The need to break something came to mind and she felt adrenaline just thinking about it.

God, she had awful anger issues.

Then again, out of all the times in her life that had warranted anger, she thought this one might be an acceptable response.

She'd just been told to kill herself, to put it plainly, and by an arrogant old man child none the less.

Fucking twat, she thought, pulling her jacket closer to her body and heading towards the academy.

A small part of her felt like taking all the drugs in the world, but knew all the drugs in the world couldnt drown out the heavy feeling weighing on her chest.

It had always been there, like a birth mark that she was cursed to have. Some days it was crushing, others suffocating. On good days she could breathe easy.

Today was turning out not to be one of those days.

The looming building of the academy appeared in her vision and she let herself in, not bothered by the arguing voices in a room nearby or the fact that she probably wasn't allowed to just do that.

The world was ending, so who gave a fuck, right?

"Five?" A male voice called out in question, just hearing the front door open and close.

"Nope!" She called back.

Footsteps followed.

Diego and Luther entered the foyer where she stood, but it only took Eleanor one second to notice the damage to the place.

"The fuck happened here?"

Bullet holes had shattered tiles and broken a window in the back of the house - things were knocked over and the chandelier, most noticeably, was not attached to the ceiling, but lying broken in pieces maybe five steps from the front door where she stood.

"We were attacked. Two masked gunmen came looking for Five." Diego answered as he walked through the room, heading towards the stairs. "You dont know anything about that, right?"

"Not a clue." She lied seamlessly.

Luther remained and she shifted, running a hand through her damp hair.

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

"Wheres Klaus?" Was all she answered with.

Luthers expression turned and he cleared his throat, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. "Uh... we dont know."

Eleanor stared blankly at the huge man, trying to make sense of his words.

"So you're saying you dont know where he is... and this place was just attacked at gun point." She spoke slowly, furrowing her eyebrows. "So he could be lying dead somewhere and you lot dont know?"

"Diego looked and didnt find him, we dont even know if he was here when-"

She cut him off, astonished. "-sorry, so what you're saying is this place was attacked and not one of you thought to check on him? What sort of fucking family are you?!"

The mans eyes rolled and he put his hand out. "Hes probably in an alley somewhere getting high."

Eleanor stared dumbfounded at the audacity of this man in front of her, then shook her head.

"So you're not even going to look for him?"

"We did-"

"-outside the house, you fucking ape!" She pointed out obviously, and it was a very obvious notion to her, but apparently not to this nonchalant man in regards to his brother.

"Look, he'll be fine. He'll show up later." He dismissed it, an annoyed expression forming on his face. His eyes flickered to the door behind her and it seemed to her he wanted to leave. "Your Fives friend, right?"

The subject changed and Eleanor blinked a few times with raised eyebrows. "No the fuck we are not." She said immediately, mind still on Klaus being missing. "Id rather throw myself out a window."

He looked confused and opened his mouth to say something, then stopped. "But... you know where he is?"

She threw her hands up in the air. "What do I look like, a fucking babysitter?"

He became impatient. "Do you know or not?"

"Well if I'd have known dont you think I'd have told you by now so I can get out of this torturous conversation?"

"Klaus said you were with him-"

"-like you implied earlier, Klaus also takes every drug under the sun. Maybe you should get a more reliable source."

"Look things will go a lot easier if you just tell me and stop lying." He stated calmly.

A piercing glare formed on her face. "So you can tell a complete strangers lying but you dont notice when your brother goes missing."

"He disappears all the time!" He said exasperated, as though it solved everything.

"You said this place was attacked!" She retorts, staring at him. This was unbelievable. "I should have just kept drinking in that hotel room-"

She turned to leave, hand on the doorknob but a large hand gripped some fabric of her leather jacket, just behind her left shoudler, and she paused, tensing her jaw.

"Just tell me where I can find him." Luther demanded, patience thinning.

Funny, so was Eleanor's. And she didnt have much left to begin with, meaning she was this close to breaking someone's arm.

She almost let a growl slip and grit her teeth, turning to look over her shoudler up at him. He towered over her.

"Let go of me or ill slice your fucking hand off." She said plainly, eyes ablaze.

"Why do you have to make this so difficult?"

"Why do you have to be such a persistent cunt?" She snapped, grabbing his wrist and pulling his hand off of her with a surprising amount of strength that startled the man as he looked down at her in question.

She opened the door and he was smart by deciding not to try and grab her again; this time she would have seriously snapped.

She didnt look back. "Find him yourself. And while you're at it, why don't you go and look for Klaus too? You know, like you probably should have when you realised he was gone."

He sighed, frustrated. "I thought you and Five were-"

He hadn't even acknowledged the part about Klaus, which fuelled her annoyance. God, he was fucking useless, Luther was.

She cut him off sharply. "Just fuck off, will ya?" She looked out at the pouring rain unflinchingly and zipped up her jacket. "Five Hargreeves can suck my fucking dick and all. When you find him, you can tell him that from me."

She gave him no time to respond and slammed the door behind her, stepping back out into the rain.
