Hello hello hello!  I have returned with more happiness, fun, and fluffy goodness all rolled up into another long chapter.  There's more than this that's already written, so that's coming soon.  I don't really know what I'm saying honestly, I didn't wake up until, like, 11:30.  The talented artist friend is doing more cool, talented art stuff which has me super hyped.  Yep, that's all...

BDub's POV

Grian was pacing in his hotel room, his eyes murderous. Impulse and Iskall were lounging in chairs, watching the pitiful excuse for news the town was playing. They were broadcasting the orphanage and BDubs smiled at the wreckage, it had been his idea to leave the "H."

"What is he playing at," Grian said under his breath. Mumbo shrugged, doing who knows what on his computer. He winced a little, a bandage peeping through his jacket. Techno had gotten him good. BDub's phone beeped and he picked it up.

"Not a good time," he told Tango, casting a worried look around the sullen room.

"I'VE SPOTTED HIM!"

"What! Where?"

Everyone looked at him and he mouthed Techno.

"On the East side of town, he just got into a white van with the fire boy and the little kid," Etho shouted.

"They're not getting away from us this time," Tango chimed in, the concentration in his voice palpable.

BDubs put them on speaker. "Keep us updated."

"The windows are tinted and there's no visible license plate. We just turned onto a dirt road, no clue where we're headed."

Grian grinned. "Which way are you headed?"

"North! I think we might-"

Both hermits screamed and BDub's heart dropped.

"What? What's happening," Grian shouted, grabbing the phone.

"...FLYING-"

"WHAT?"

There was a huge crash, then another scream and a crunch. False gagged a little, hugging her stomach. That was never good.

"TANGO? ETHO?"

There was a minute of pure silence, then, "someone needs to bring Stress. Etho got impaled." The entire room flew into action. Iskall bolted to the other room and was knocking wildly. Mumbo started typing faster, his eyes narrowed. Impulse and False both grabbed their phones and texted the Hermits that were still at headquarters. Stress and Iskall now raced down the hallway, Stress peeling off her gloves. BDubs took his phone back, added Iskall to the call, then started grilling Tango for specifics.

"Techno's gotten stronger. He just picked up the car, flipped it, and dropped us. Etho's fading pretty quickly, are you guys almost here?"

"Yes, we see you," Iskall said. How they'd managed to get there so quickly was beyond BDub's understanding, but he was grateful for it nonetheless. Car doors opened, and BDubs could now hear the new arrivals on Tango's phone. Iskall grunted loudly, and crunching metal could be heard. Tango must've grabbed his phone because the labored breathing became louder.

"Ok, I've got them," Stress said, then ended the call. BDubs set down his phone, worry lining his face. Techno was getting so much stronger, it was a wonder he hadn't killed Etho and Tango. Grian was still standing in the same spot, his eyes glued to the now dark screen of the phone. BDubs picked up the tv remote and turned it off. The room was quieter now, then broken by Mumbo.
