Chapter 7- The Lake

Hello, I am back.  This chapter was really fun to write.  The Lake 2; Electric Boogaloo is coming soon to Wattpads near you, but it might be a while since I have school tomorrow.  No warnings this chapter, just a tiny bit of cursing.  Enjoy!

When everyone sat back, content, Phil stood again.

"I believe it is warmed up enough to go to the lake," he said, and everyone sleepily cheered. Soon chairs scrapped against the floors and everyone started making their way back through the kitchen. Techno hung back however, waving everyone ahead of him. When it was just him and Phil, he whispered, "I don't own a bathing suit, Phil."

The winged man laughed and replied, "Don't worry, I was counting on it and got you one." Techno's eyebrows shot up. "Follow me." They made their way back to the rooms. They passed door after door before stopping at one near the end of the hall. Phil nudged the door open and they walked in. It was a simple room, almost identical to Techno's. The only difference was a wall of pictures. Techno recognized a lot of the people up there as the boys, but some of them were unfamiliar.

"Here you go," Phil said, breaking Techno's attention. He turned to see him holding a pair of black swimming trunks and a gray shirt. He gratefully took them back to his room and into the bathroom. Wasting no time, he changed and walked back out. He passed Sapnap and giggled in amusement at his flame- patterned shorts. Sap just rolled his eyes and jogged back to his room. He re-emerged with a blue dri-fit bandanna wrapped around his forehead.

"You're seriously in for a treat," he said as they descended the stairs together.

"I haven't seen a lake, is it around here," Techno called loudly over Tommy and Bad arguing. It looked like Tommy was refusing to wear a shirt, but Bad was trying to explain the negatives of not wearing one.

"Yea, we've gotta use the four wheelers and bikes again."

Techno nodded, then snorted as Tommy stormed back upstairs for a shirt. A blonde girl with a heart shaped face went flying past them.

"You wearing a bikini Fundy," Wilbur asked.

"Not really in the mood, this body is just faster," the girl responded with a wink and light grin before disappearing upstairs. George shook his head and gave Wilbur an annoyed look before going back to talking with Skeppy. Quackity was bouncing on the balls of his feet next to the door. The moment Phil, Fundy, and Tommy came back downstairs, he whipped open the door-nearly hitting himself in the face in the process- and raced over to the garage. He slammed his hand into the button and the doors slid open smoothly.

Dream raced past and immediately claimed a bike, as did Bad. Techno went to climb on a four wheeler with Sapnap but Dream called his name. Techno flinched softly, but nodded and wandered over to him. He grabbed his previous helmet and strapped it.

"Just wanted to say I'm sorry if I pushed you too far, but I think it'll be worth it in the end," Dream said quietly, starting up the bike,

"I sure hope so," Techno said with a sigh. He wrapped his arms gingerly around Dreams waist. Phil took a four wheeler and pulled out of the garage. The others followed, and then they were off down a new path. This one was bumpier and obviously used less. They scared off a couple of deer, and Techno could hear Tommy yelling at them.

When they came to a stop, Techno got off the bike to find the most amazing place he had ever seen. There was a beautiful, crystal blue lake with sandy beaches. Up a little higher was a copse of trees providing shade. From a different tree was a knotted rope, another a tire swing. It was picture perfect. At the other end, a huge pile of rocks dominated the space.
