It was too hot. Much too hot. Techno opened a bleary eye and assumed he was in Hell. The world around him was full of flames, the cracking of the fire roaring over everything else. He was sitting upright, but he was hunched over. A cloth seat belt was buckled over his waist, holding him to the seat. He clicked the button and it unlatched. He fell forward, not realizing he was tilted, and landed face first into the ground.

With a grunt, he pushed himself upright and took a better look around. He was standing in the remains of the plane. The metal skeleton was warped and bent, like a crazy giant had smacked it with a hammer. They had crash landed in the forest surrounding the airport, but the trees around them were burning skeletons. People lay face down in the ground, unmoving. Some were burning, filling the air with a horrifying stench. Techno's stomach turned over when he realized that he didn't see Phil or the others.

The voices were still there though. They sounded tentative and worried as Techno scanned the rubble, beginning to panic.

Technochill, they said. He focused on them a little more, taking gasping breaths to get himself under control. The voices helped as much as they could, but they were all trying to give him different ideas and techniques to calm down, which caused the opposite effect. He shoved them away, they were almost helpful this time.

He began to shift through the rubble, looking for anyone familiar. They couldn't die, not now. He shoved a large hunk of metal away and was about to do it again when he heard a voice.

"Techno?"

He whirled around to see Tommy on the ground, curled up in a tight ball. Techno swore with relief and sprinted over him.

"Are you hurt," he said, picking Tommy up. The small Brit shook his head a little.

"I got burned a little, but I'm ok."

"Where did you get burned?"

Tommy gestured to his right arm. Sure enough, there was a hefty burn the size of the palm of someone's hand. Techno snarled softly and adjusted his grip, keeping his hands as far from the burn as possible. The voices didn't like it either. They started getting mad again, yelling for revenge. Techno grimaced and shoved them into the darkest corner of his mind that he could find. He refocused on Tommy and tried to smile encouragingly.

"I'm going to try and find the others, you look for some sort of medical kit. Okay?"

Tommy swallowed and nodded. Techno gently set him down and he raced off, nimbly leaping over piles of rubble. Techno shifted the chunk of scrap he had been eyeing earlier and gasped in alarm when he found Sapnap trapped under it. His white bandana was stained with blood and there was a decent sized cut on his forehead that had probably caused it. Techno moved the debris off him and dragged him away from the wreckage.

Sapnap groaned lightly, his eyelids fluttering. Techno laid him down on what used to be a seat, it was probably only slightly more comfortable than the ground.

"What the hell," he said, trying to open his eyes. Techno smiled sadly and pulled the bandana off his head. However, it ripped part of a scab open and Sapnap hissed in pain. Fresh blood trickled down his temple and Techno quickly used the stained cloth to staunch the flow.

"Plane crash. I guess you were right."

"Yeah that's because I'm always right. How are we still alive?"

"I have no idea. Tommy ran off to find medical supplies, and you're the second person I've found so far. Now hold still."

Sapnap complied, and Techno did his best to bandage up the head wound. It was hasty and probably the worst he could do, but there was nothing else to do. Tommy came flying back, an emergency kit in his hands.

"I found it, and Dream!"

Techno bolted to his feet.

"Is he okay?"

"Yeah, he's not in bad shape. He's back with George, Bad, Ant, Ranboo, and some of the others. They've been awake for a while but couldn't find us for some reason."

"Alright I'm gonna go talk to them. Do you know how to dress a wound?"

Tommy gave him an affronted look and rolled his eyes.

"Of course I know how you pig prick"

Techno snorted a little and started the way Tommy had come. Sure enough, a large group was huddled around one of the fires, talking amongst themselves. Skeppy spotted Techno first and ran to hug him, which was surprising. Skeppy wasn't one for physical affection, even around the people he was closest to.

"I'm alright," Techno said, returning the hug. When Skeppy let go, he took a deep breath and gestured him over. Techno dropped down next to Dream and bumped his shoulder.

"Glad to see you're still alive," he said with a grin. Dream gave him a relieved look and wrapped an arm around him in a quick hug.

"Sapnap and Tommy are a bit further back, Sapnap's head is a bit of a mess right now."

Karl was standing and running past him in a second, his face drawn in worry. Quackity was right on his heels.

"Have you guys found everyone else yet?"

"We can't find Wilbur or Schlatt," Phil said quietly. "The place where they were sitting is completely encased in fire."

Techno's heart dropped like a stone. He stumbled to his feet, his eyes haunted. The voices went silent as well, Techno could tell they were in shock.

"Where are they?"

Phil rose to his feet as well, looking unsteady. He picked his way over to a larger fire. It was surrounded by metal and broken pieces of the plane. Phil's eyes were full of tears and he wrapped his arms and wings around his body. Techno had to grab onto a nearby chair to keep himself upright. He wasn't even sure Sapnap could survive in a fire like that.

"I hope they got thrown into the woods or something, but I'm not sure," Phil said in a choked voice. Techno furrowed his eyebrows, looking at the fire. Something in him was compelled to walk towards it, craving the heat. He took an involuntary step towards it, making Phil's eyes jump to him.

"Don't try it, Techno," he warned. Techno just gave him a stubborn look and stepped into the flames.
