Local Café

Felix rushed into his work building, and hurried behind the counter.

The first costumer of the day pulled in the parking lot.

They had a black, small car.

Felix danced around as he waited for them to enter the building.

Chris walked into the café, and smiled at the boy behind the counter.

"Hi! Can I just get a plain black coffee?" Chris asked the boy.

The boy had on a pastel pink sweater and white ripped jeans under his apron. That didn't matter to Chris because he couldn't tell what color it was.

The boy behind the counter smiled back.

"You sure can! That would be one dollar!" Felix said.

Felix made the black coffee for the boy on the other side of the counter.

The boy was wearing a black shirt with black sweatpants and a plain black beanie.

Felix handed the boy the coffee and smiled, as he took the money Chris owed him for the drink.

"Thank you sir! Have a good day!" Felix said.

"You too!" Chris said.

Chris turned around and sat down at a table for two.

Soon, more costumers arrived and the place filled up with happy chattering.

Chris was the only one alone, and he didn't care. He liked it better like that.

Felix looked around at all the happy costumers.

He looked at an old lady, dressed in a baby blue sweater and black sweatpants, who was with an old man, dressed in a white button up shirt and a pair of black pants. Probably her husband.

He looked at a group of teenage boys, all dressed in pretty colors that pleased the eye.

He then spotted a boy, who was dressed in all black. The first costumer of the day.

Felix stared at the boy. Why was he dressed in all black? Did he not like color? Was he sad?

The boy looked up at the counter, and noticed Felix staring.

He smiled at Felix. Felix realized he was looking at him and quickly looked away, getting out his phone and pretending he wasn't looking.

The boy in black giggled and looked out the window.

Soon, Chris finished his drink and left.
